A Doctor Who website won (IMHO) best April Fools prank of 2017 for their Doctor Who story. For those that don't watch DW (and why don't you?) the current DW is going to step down at the end of this season so there have been several months of speculation and betting on who would be the next Doctor Who.


The Doctor to Degenerate Back Into David Tennant


Doctor Who TV can exclusively reveal today that Peter Capaldi will not in fact regenerate this Christmas. Instead, fans will see the reverse.


In a startling twist, the Time Lord will revisit past incarnations following the 12th Doctor's final moments this Christmas.


We'll see him cycle back down to the Tenth Doctor.


David Tennant will once again be reprising his iconic role, and will then join new showrunner Chris Chibnall for Series 11 next year.

Everyone who participates in April Fools needs to be shot. Worst part is many companies were doing April Fools "jokes" a day or two before April 1st.
