I'd still say go for the 7490 with the wider fence extender and deeper blade ingress for safety.
But if you want pickup truck portability, this is the one to get.

to add on, I have this saw and it's a good one though it's major 'flaw' for me it does not allow for a dado blade.
Same here. Sears screwed up my online order as usual and replaced it with a store pickup, which is still processing after 2 weeks. You can buy this saw shipped now, then pick up the one in store and return it with this receipt.
Mine showed a pick up delivery 3 weeks out but it ended up coming after around a week. I used it this weekend and enjoyed it. I also used all the points and got my wife a cruiser bike because I wanted to use the points before they magically disappeared. Hopefully your saw gets there soon. With those SYW points it made it a great deal.

That's good to hear. Pick up superviser @ Sears said it would be here Thursday, but I'm not holding my breath, so to speak. My primary concern is rip cuts in a flooring project. Prefer a table saw over a circular.
Edit: The deals I referenced above were for the DW745 which has nowhere near the rip capacity that this does.
I agree with the above statements about dado blades on this saw. that was my biggest letdown. though, I did read that you could effectively do a smaller dado stack on this saw. and if you can do a thinner dado cut, you should be able to just move the cut over little but little and effectively make a wide dado cut with a few smaller grooves cut side by side.
