180W PSU. Yeah, the new Arrow Lake CPU's are efficient but that's still kind of hilariously low. You have to add it to your cart to see this.
Most low-end Dell desktops come with 180W power supplies for years. It's plenty for what people do with this level of desktop. Since the CPU shows @ Max Turbo it can draw 182W, Dell must be capping the performance of the CPU so as to not overload the system?

From what I've seen, what you're referring to are mostly the SFF systems that don't have a 7-class CPU and have very limited expansion options by design. This is a mini-tower system with three PCI-e slots for expansion. With that PSU, those slots are pretty useless except for maybe an extra NIC.

A NIC or a PCIe SSD adapter, both of which are pretty low power. What else is there to plug into those slots? There are no power connectors for a discrete GPU as these power supplies typically only have SATA power connectors and not the 6 or 8-pin connectors for a GPU.
There is a 360W option with extra connectors for this model, but this configuration is for the 180W option.

The two adapters you cited are available in low profile format, so why buy a mini-tower at all? Because you need to use full-height cards. Like a GPU. Which this PSU cannot remotely handle. I think my point is still valid that this exact configuration in a mini-tower makes the mini-tower part somewhat useless.
Sure, a 360W PSU would make more sense here but it's not offered on this specific deal, even as an extra cost upgrade.

I spent some time discussing this w/ Claude Max last night before buying and it swears that'll never be an issue unless maybe if you're running extended all-core full-throttle benchmarks, ymmv of course, this is not financial advice, etc.

That thread title needs a lot of work. It's a very good value, but I wish they had the Tower Plus model for this price (Model EBT2250).
FR, I was too tired to get out of bed last night and find a computer to use the real UI, the mobile one leaves a bit to be desired and I struggled to successfully re-edit

I'm thinking if you have a consistent workload that can all-core max out the full power envelope, you're not buying this system, and for close to 100% of those who do, this'll go as fast as it can at all times
