  4. You will then receive a $5 Starbucks eGift

Starbucks will give away up to 45,000 Promotional Gifts to eligible customers between 4/10/17 and 4/23/17. To receive a Promotional Gift, you must purchase a $5 or more Starbucks eGift Card using the Starbucks App and meet the other eligibility requirements below.

If you are one of the first 45,000 people during the Promotion Period to complete steps 1-3 above and meet these promotional offer requirements, you will receive a Promotional Gift. YOU ARE NOT GUARANTEED TO RECEIVE A PROMOTIONAL GIFT. You are only eligible to receive one Promotional Gift. Qualifying customers will receive the Promotional Gift via email to the email address associated with their Apple Pay account. Starbucks will not be responsible for any late, lost, misrouted, or non-delivered e-mails, or other computer- or communications-related failures, caused by events beyond the reasonable control of Starbucks.

after you purchase an eGC, you NEED TO SEND IT via imessage. you can find the eGC by going through the "Starbucks Gifts" app inside imessage.

IF YOUR CARD IS DECLINED IN APPLE PAY:

1. try using a non-Discover CC
2. try delete your CC and add it back into Apple Pay
3. Update contact details in Apple pay popup


IF YOU CAN'T OPEN THE IMESSAGE eGC

1. open imessage on your Mac seems to work for others

Enter your email - Receive the link through your email - Click resend to send the code to any email you want.

After enter your email, starbucks will send you an email with the link to check your card. Check the status, make sure it is "viewed". Resend it to email for the gift car code and bar code.

It is not letting me pick Apple Pay as a payment form. You chose Gift then click payment forms and Apple Pay is not there for me? Frown

How long has it taken to receive the gift card via iMessage? I think (and hope) I sent the one I purchased to myself, but I haven't seen anything come through. I did get the receipt for the purchased gift card and also the bonus $5 gift card to my email.
