You can get the 64 gig version for $259.99 as well. I know these are cheaper with Amazon Prime, but this is for the non-ad versions. If you are already a Cricket user, and are looking for a new phone, this is a decent deal.

Deal is about _UNLOCKED_ Moto G5 Plus and Cricket airtime card..

FYI for those that are comparing this model to the Amazon Ads version:
The Moto G5 w/ Ads bootloader is LOCKED and therefore the phone can't be rooted.

Would think BB wouldn't be that dumb to give a discount on a phone with the card and allow the card to be returned for cash, lol.

This is an ok deal...taxes kind of kill it.

For me, I'd only get the 4gb ram version, being $300 + 9-10% tax = $330, less $40 gift card (but with sales tax added on also), so total = $290 - $295, for the 4gb RAM version.

Considering this, the recent Moto 4G Plus 4gb ram from B&H photo with free $40 Samsung bluetooth headphone for $225 was a killer deal. The Moto 4G Plus came out to be $185, no sales tax.

The Moto 5G plus is newer and better spec, but smaller screen (5.2 vs 5.5") despite the phone sizes being similar. Not worth another $100 for the newer version, imho.

I love my Moto 4G Plus. Would buy Moto 5G Plus if prices came down to $250 or so for the 4gb RAM version.

From past BB deals I also wonder if you can return the gift card and it gives you the $40 discount on the phone anyway.

Can you use cricket phones on AT&T "go" (prepaid that I think uses the same system).

Same network, not the same system. Don't think you can cross apply airtime cards.

No. All U.S variants are single SIM.

Correct, you can't use Cricket phones on AT&T without unlocking them but... This doesn't appear to be a Cricket phone. #1: Cricket doesn't sell the G5 Plus on their website. #2 if you go to the best buy page it says "unlocked". So you should be able to use the phone on any network. But you couldn't use the airtime for AT&T

Can you return prepaid airtime cards? I thought those were typically no refunds

Sweet deal, to bad I bought it a few weeks ago. But my old phone died and needed something quick. And I'm on cricket to boot!

Will BB price match something sold a few weeks ago?
And if so since this is a bundle deal would that disqualify any said match?

Love the phone btw!

nice to see the promo for cricket customers. If I hadn't gotten the LG G5 from the BB deal, I would be all over this.
