So, what exactly is a gayberry?
hot mess avy's thanks to sonofabeech
our hero

Uh, who's gonna take this one?
I'll give it a shot. It's a made up term (I think Briang developed the slang but for some it caught on like wildfire) for any kind of berry or fruit that a person would use to make a fruit smoothie to drink, instead of drinking beer like a manly man, such as Briang. ![]() Some people even speak the language Gayberrolian. How'd I do Matt? |

woah cool
I am planning on driving up to Menifee today to the ST. It is only 45 min each way, but worth it IMO. Last time I went I stocked up on all kinds of groceries for about $35 oop. My total before coupons was over $300. Oh, and I bought a $25 GC in that order.
I'll help ya!
ETA: Couponing at T can be easy, but it takes a little time to learn the ropes.
Amen to that. I graduated from the Drugstores to T
I heard stuff about the Escondido store too from another SDer who I was trying to convince to T, and he said they consistently gave him the shit. Man there is a lot to catch up on! I was out shopping all day, and got the orginal Wiles groomed and got her a new outfit. This Wiles has been flirting with her best male platonic friend, if anyone even cares about my hot mess???????
I hate VS, I don't own anything from there except my $1 shipped fuzzy socks and slippers.
It's impossible to find a bra that fits me, dosen't ride up, or the straps fall down when i'm working, oh and doesn't make the upper part of my tits hang out.
i hope you realize u need to put this in the OP and change the title a bit
just 20 is so young
Dh has been in Chicago since Thursday for a class he is taking. Their class takes parts in different competitions around the country.
I may have said before that DH isn't really into talking on the phone, but he always answers if if I call. Last night I kept calling and got no answers. I thought he might have been out of range or in the air but it was past time for him to be home.
I talked to him for about 30 seconds during his layover in Atl and I knew something was wrong. I could hear it in his voice, he is a very mellow person and never really has huge emotional reactions to anything. I asked him if something was wrong and he cut me off saying he would talk at home. I was worried after that. Dh is type 1 diabetic, since 16 months old. And I always worry about him because of that.
He came home just after 1am, more than an hour after I thought he would arrive. He walked in and looked at me, and said, "My professor died on our way to the airport."
He told me that they were getting ready to board the redline to the airport, waiting for the rest of the class to get to the station. He was with his professor, a healthy, happy 46 y/o wife and mother of 2 girls. They were talking and out of nowhere she crumpled and fell to the ground...he was on the phone with 911 right away, but he wasn't sure exactly where he was, a worker came up and started cpr b/c she wasn't breathing. He said 'Kara, I saw her face and I knew. She was already gone, it was the worst face I have ever seen a person make.'
2 of his classmates stayed behind, I can tell he is feeling guilty that he didn't, but no one was sure if the university would pay for more plane tickets.
He came home with another classmate and when they got to the charlotte airport the got the call that she didn't make it, and his classmate broke down. He sat with her in the airport trying to comfort her. He didn't want her to drive so he drove her home.
My DH does not get emotional over anything, good/bad, happy/sad. Nothing ever seems to effect him. Last night I saw the kind of pain in his eyes that I have never ever seen before.
Please pray for his professor's family. I will probably be back on tomorrow.

I do have g-sales on my health & beauty & household (and toys) stockpiles. I price everything at 50% off retail. People love it!
For food stockpiles I give all my excess of cereal, tuna, pasta, pasta sauce, you get it, pantry items to my church. We just took in 10 boxes of cereal and 4 BIG boxes of granola bars to the food pantry last Sunday. There is no way we can eat it all. I also run stuff over to the neighbors who have 4 growing kids to feed. They area always happy to see me. Anytime friends come over I always pack up a goody bag or 2 or box and send them on their way. It is just good karma to pay it forward.[/QUOTE]
Right on
omg froggy i'm so sorry
