Not bad for an i7. Wish it had a GTX1060 or RX480 tho.

Solid CPU, good storage and RAM. The GPU is putting me off, can anyone tell me what games this type of cpu would handle? (Not a heavy gamer but do play CS GO and maybe a few other games)

It can handle CS Go at highest settings and in fact any games. It is the GPU which will hold you down.

Ur going to need to remove all of the guts to this and put it in another chassis to make it a viable gaming machine..

that gpu is a no-go..

and because of the half height psu slot of this chassis, you can't just stick in a normal atx psu.. (unless you're willing to use a dremel for 30 minutes)

Not super easy since dell uses proprietary components for PSU and motherboard. Also the Chassis is not long enough to hold full length cards. You probably should be going with Mini series. With the current PSU, it can handle a GTX 1050 Ti at max.

For those worried but want to get some gaming done at 1080p... just throw a 1050ti in this and you'll be just fine since it doesn't need power supply from the PSU. I put this card in a cheap $200 i5 HP I found off of Woot and my son loves it!

I've got an i5 3650. As noted above, proprietary PSU and my i5 has very limited power and SATA leads. Had to run a splitter to add an SSD. Very limited case space and you can't add a 5.25" drive (such as a blu-ray burner) due to the slim tray drive.

Slick deal, especially when you click through the website of Mr. E. Bates.

Edward gives you 10% back in Dell Small Business. Brings thanks down another $60 to ~$540.

My parents have been looking for something to replace their 2003 Compaq still running Windows Vista and chugging along with 3GB of RAM.

EDIT: Went for it [imgur.com]. Not including what I get from Mr. E.Bates $810 after taxes and adding a 4 year ProSupport warranty so they know they're in good hands. Free 2 Day Shipping because I joined their Dell Advantage Rewards thing.

Thanks OP. Hope this thing lasts them 15 years just like the last one.

Can individuals take advantage of this offer (not a company)?
