The $10 promo credit is only valid towards the subscription fee

If you are fairly certain you will not continue with Music Unlimited after the trial period is over and do not want to forget to cancel, you can do this:

Go to the Amazon Music Unlimited settings page [amazon.com]
Under the section titled Subscription Renewal, look for the link of "Do not continue after trial"
The next page is a confirmation page, with Amazon requesting you to enter an option of why you'd like to discontinue. If you do not want to choose an option, you can click the link of "No, I don't want to provide feedback. Please cancel my subscription"
On the next page, click on the "Confirm Cancellation" button

I hope this helps,
Tofu Vic

The credit, whether 10 or 20, is towards subscription costs only...it cannot be used towards other purchases.

What's the difference between Amazon Music and Prime Music? If I already have Google Music, do I need this at all? Thanks

No. It's basically a 60 day trial.

not sure why, but that link gave me a $20 credit on either monthly or annual subscription, so I grabbed the annual for $59 after the free 30 days. thanks!

I am eligible even though I have Amazon Prime and I can listen to the music I bought and those that are prime eligible. Anyway, I'm curious what the $10 promo code is for? I don't mine digital downloads such as games and music, but it would be awesome if it is for any purchase shipped and sold by Amazon. If it's just $10 toward your subscription, then no thanks. If someone knows, then please let me know and I will sign up and cancel after 30 days.

With Prime Music the selection is good but still limited, thus this paid version which opens the entire catalog.

I used the promotion the last time they ran this. Tried clicking the link and it didn't offer me the $10 and trial. Meh. Amazon Music isn't bad, but I wish there were more playlist to help discover music.
