Acme tools is running a promo where you get a free 20v battery with certain bare tool purchases. Just add to cart and the battery will be automatically added for free. The thing is it's possible they don't mean to give away a 5.0xr battery with the 3 of the cheapest tools on the list. I got an email that the batteries are back ordered. Free shipping on $199+. No tax for some.

$99 Sawzall:

$99 Grinder/Cutoff tool:

$99 Circular Saw:

honorable mention goes to the compact sawzall at $120 but I think the better value is with the 3 tools above. local resale value for the battery is an easy $50-$60 putting the bare tool value at $39-$49.

here is a link to all the tools for the promo:

wet/dry vac isn't bad either
*nevermind, wet/dry vac battery only gives compact battery.

my guess is that it's a mistake that the 5ah battery is adding to the lower cost tools

They might've changed it because I was definitely able to add 2 tools and see 2 batterie added automatically

Edit still works ..2 tools give me 2 batteries and so on

Yep, compact battery for both wet vacs. Not good at all. Might have been good enough for FP last week, but now ... laugh out loud

def a good deal. I am meeting a guy from Craigslist to sell him 2 5ah batteries at $60/ea in just an hour from now

unfortunately, I don't need any of those tools. I have flexvolt of all 3 of those
Stupid question, but is there a demand for these or is everyone just going for the flex volt stuff?

for 20v batteries? definitely, only certain tools have a flexvolt option. you can buy flexvolt batteries for your 20v tools, but they are significantly more expensive for that extra 1ah
