They had to drop price on this thing, cause too many bad reviews on not driving staples deep enough, misfires, and motor quit unexpectedly. Every company has a dud now & then. So far, having good luck with the Hitachi/Metabo staplers though. Be careful when you order this thing for delivery, cause Roadie (UPS sister company) delivers them bare tool, without the batteries & charger. For some reason they steal them & think you won't notice.

This has always been bare tool the battery and charger comes separately when you buy the tool as a freebies

As much as I like the m12 platform, I'm not happy with this stapler. Bought it on a need case for stapling ceiling insulation, and it would have been brutal with a hand stapler. It barely survived that job and I agree with the reviews about "no ass" driving staples in other than fresh wood. The penetration can be iffy, but eth, I already have it.
Would I buy it again? Probably not.
