not everyone wants to pirate and there are still a vast majority that don't have HS broadband at home, are on some rediculious caped internet plan, or like me and have tried the firestick and know that half the content is unbearably crappy at times. I'd rather rent it at a box for .50c and enjoy the movie.
And in addition to all your valid points, I still prefer BD rental from redbox over 1080p streaming for a movie I really want to watch. Uncompressed blue ray performs better any day, and you can tell the difference.
