Check your rebate status people: https://www.itwgbpromotions.com/RebateStatus. Quite a few people have gotten their rebates denied for no apparent reason. Worst case, save your receipt and return it!

Cleaners work for almost all fuel systems, whether in an automobile engine or outboard, but you're usually better off cleaning a carburetor with carburetor cleaner. Most of the cleaners for fuel injected systems won't clean and lube a carb as thoroughly as a few hits with a can of carb cleaner will.

They're not snake oil, but they are just regular chemicals that are way overpriced in a small size container. They do work for cleaning dirty fuel systems, but they are only really needed if you're putting in bad gas that causes the fuel system to get dirty with deposits, or have vehicle maintenance issues.

Generally as long as you put in brand-name fuel with cleaning additives already mixed in, using additional fuel system cleaner just fouls up spark plugs and creates problems where none exist.

If you can change brakes properly you can do this.

I found this video for a 2007 Accord with the 4cyl.

and here is a video for where the PCV Valve is.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRO-4X0jwvI

You probably do not need to change the PCV Valve so just use the video to show where its at and then clean it like the throttle body. You can do this while its running as well to clean the valves and Cyl up also.

I like to do this before an oil change as it can wash down a little extra build up to the oil. Not much but less trash in the oil is better.

I think ITW is the parent company to these products. So if you trust it enough to put it in your gas tank, you should probably trust you get the $25 back.

I use gumout regane. Looks like this is a more concentrated and "once a year" version of it. At least it looks like it.

I'm going to give this a try and pick some up tonight. I'm a sucker for free snake oil. Wink

Does anyone know if this is OK for boat motors? I have a 98 Honda 4-stroke (carbs, not EFI) that is running a bit rough and would like to try this. The directions state 1 oz for every 1.25 gallons of unleaded gas.
