Verizon to offer $300 off iPhone 7/iPhone 7 Plus purchase to those who port over their number from T-Mobile

The Verizon deal will be offered in conjunction with discount retailer Target (or Tar-jay to the entitled). Starting on June 4th (which is this coming Sunday) and running through June 10th, T-Mobile subscribers who port their number over to Verizon will be given a $300 discount on the Apple iPhone 7 and Apple iPhone 7 Plus when the purchase is made at Target. Those taking advantage of the deal will have to install the discounter's Cartwheel app, and download a special coupon from it that applies to the transaction.

lol they responded with T-Mobile's attack on Verizon. If only this kind of competition existed in Cable/Internet I'd be happy. Comcast/AT&T in my area is expensive AF.

Unless you know something else or more evidence...this has been on the grapevine for some time now, but it does make sense they are increasing their subscribers by all means necessary to entice a buyer, I'd be happy with Sprint great coverage and with Tmo new spectrum I believe Tmo can stand on its own time will tell...tbc, lol I can see people getting their ip 7 paid off by Tmo then flopping back to Vz for a cool $300 LMAO but otherwise Vz will not get Tmo customers unless they can match Tmo pricing with their insane unheard of discounts this is going nowhere for Vz

I've been with T-Mobile for a long time, I like the free international coverage, T-Mobile Tuesday, great customer service. But every time I go somewhere without reception, my thought would be switching to Verizon.
