Mixer is a new up and coming website that is owned by Microsoft. Apparently if you watch E3 coverage on Sunday, June 11th on the Mixer website while signed into your Xbox live Microsoft account. You will be rewarded with free mystery games and DLC for simply watching the event.

https://mixer.com/xbox

What you get- What's in the MixPot?
Rare Replay – full game download. Mature game – will not be awarded to accounts for users under 17 or with family settings that block purchases.
Halo Wars 2 Kinsano Leader Pack (with special bonus of 3 Blitz Packs for Xbox One players)
Minecraft Redstone Specialists Skin Pack (for Minecraft: Xbox One Edition)
Halo Warthog in Forza Horizon 3 (unique vehicle not available in the in-game store)
HAWKEN – Starter Pack
No Time to Explain – full game download
The Final Station – full game download. Mature game – will not be awarded to accounts for users under 17 or with family settings that block purchases.
If you watch the conference on Mixer, you'll get the "Xbox E3 MixPot." It's not clear what exactly is in it, but it's hard to argue with free games and DLC. Here's what Mixer has to say on the subject:

Watch the Xbox E3 Briefing on Mixer to get free stuff. We wanted to do something special for fans during this year's Xbox E3 Briefing, so we're giving away a whole MixPot of digital goodness to everyone watching and logged in on Mixer. Here's how it works:

Watch the Xbox E3 Briefing live on Mixer: The briefing will be aired on Sunday, June 11 at 2:00pm PDT. You can watch via the Mixer viewing app on Xbox One, via any web browser at mixer.com/Xbox, or by using the Mixer app on iOS or Android.
Sign in to your Mixer account: You must be logged into your Mixer account to get your MixPot.
Link your Mixer account to your Microsoft/Xbox Live account: To learn how to link your Mixer account to your Microsoft/Xbox Live account, see Link a Mixer account to your Microsoft account. Don't worry if your account isn't linked during the E3 Briefing. Just be sure it's linked by Friday, June 16th, 11:59 PM PT.
That's it! Keep an eye out during the briefing as we announce all the digital goodness that will be coming to you after the event.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

They did it for legal reasons...

Skydrive was, again, a legal issue. They were sued by the British TV broadcaster Sky, who was protecting their trademark. What other option should Microsoft have gone with? Fight the lawsuit, potentially lose hundreds of millions in a verdict and still be ordered to change it anyway?

This is also what happens to you when things start to get popular and get attention as you roll it out in new places. People come out of the woodwork to sue you because you have big pockets. Ie Microsoft having to change SkyDrive to OneDrive and Metro design to Modern design.

I'll be watching anyway so free stuff is always nice, even if I don't own the games they'll give away DLC for.

Might let it stream in the background for free stuff. Thanks.

Also, Microsoft is stupid. Mixer is Beam, which they bought and people were finally recognizing what that was, so what does Microsoft do? They change the name.

Whatever, it still highlight corporate incompetence, same situation with skydrive and Nokia. Microsoft is constantly building brand recognition and then throwing it away for whatever the reason may be.

If they're going to announce the mystery digital freebies during the conference then it must be worth it.

You didn't even mention it'll also be in 4K which is reason enough to watch it this way for me.

The service was named "Beam" when they purchased it. It then had to be changed, as it was a copywrite issue.
