Debating between this or a TS-251/451+ for a NAS. Would this work good with OMV or OpenNAS? And does anyone know how much more power this would consume over the QNAP?

Still have the T20 from a few years back for $120 on Cyber Monday. Great Plex server running Ubuntu. The 1 TB drive is a nice starter for that.

my current 10+ year old server hardware is failing slowly. the fans sound like they're trying to cool off the sahara. finally got in on one of these to be my plex server. REALLY excited to get everything transferred over. now i just gotta wait for a deal on some 8tb drives
