I own 5 of these. 2 of them I got for $25, 4 I got for $16 using some special deals/coupons, so this is a good price.

These are cheap china cams and they by default only work with the xiaomi app, but you can "hack" them using guides to give full root shell access which you can then use to give them much more functionality. Google "fang hacks" and watch the video then check out the github page if you like to tweak stuff.

Exactly this. I bought my first one unaware of the whole being forced to use their app thing - was pretty bummed out about not being able to use it in my iVideon setup...

After learning of Fang Hacks, I was a much happier customer... After applying the hacks, I'm able to use it exactly as I want - haven't had any problems out of it since...

Picking up another now to add to the collection.

Yes, I added one before I realized I was better off setting them up in zoneminder (took more work, but works)
