Yes. They'll even pay your bill for a year on another carrier. Aren't they sweet? Here, take our phone dirt cheap, cancel our service with no intent of using it, and we'll even unlock the phone for you so you can take it to another carrier which was your intent all along...

the cheapest data plan you can choose from them is $45 data plan. Anyone has tried to unlock the phone with Sprint after 50 days without any problems?

No. You will owe the remainder of the payments. Unless I missed somewhere you're device contract is for full price divided by 24 with monthly credits to bring it to $5/mo.
