the 8GB is soldered on there is also an empty soDimm DDR4 slot so you can additional 16GB. I am looking for 16Gb soldered on laptop to upgrade to 32Gb

Edit: the 16Gb RAM model is double the price, forget that.

It has the Intel HD 630, so it's better than a dual core i7's integrated graphics. It would be ok for light gaming, and great for surfing and media. I doubt you can upgrade it. But they do offer this laptop with an Nvidia 1050, but it's a gimped one at 2GB. The CPU on this thing is a beast, though.

The i7 7700HQ is just way more powerful than the 7500. I have the Yoga 710 but compared the numbers. Great laptop, i got the 710 15.6 4K for 787 2 months ago on bestbuy

Yes the CPU is fantastic. Intel only makes a handful of mobile CPUs that are more beefy than this one.

I have that highest end model and it was at $1250. That one, too comes with 8Gb soldered and another slot populated with 8GB stick. It does not come with single 16GB in any models. And the price difference is not just for the Ram but for having 4K display and a dedicated GTX 1050 2Gb GDDR5 graphics.
