I think it should be fine, all the charging circuit stuff is inside the battery and the aftermarket charger is just a power supply, the battery itself does all the cell balancing and charge regulation etc

Thought of getting the case but the reviews say it has got a horrible chemical smell. So I am going to pass on this one.

I can vouch for the case, very nice to pack my drone in with my backpack, I took it on a hike on and got some gorgeous waterfall footage.

Mine did have a very strong tobacco-like smell, but it went away after a few days of airing it out and dryer sheets.

I was on the fence about that charger, too. Sounds like they recetly fixed the issue with grounding, which should alleviate most of those concerns. So I pulled the trigger. Here's a better explanation and review of what should be the current version: https://youtu.be/nedxsDHdlIU

Any ideas about the accessory bundle below I found on Amazon for only $8.99? I just bought it so we will see.

I also got mine after they fixed the grounding issue... works great for me so far! It seems well built too, metal enclosure and all.
