This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! I think ball popping thing is perfect for a 1 year old (if it's the one that I'm thinking of) but I got a sit-n-spin for my ds when he was 18 months old and he didn't start playing with it until he was around 3. He's 5 now and dd is 3 and they both still like to play on it.

I agree. kid likes ball popper. Just stares at the sit n spin. puts hot wheels on it and spins it around. definitely better for a kid around 3

These types of toys mislead little girls into thinking that ball popping (busting?) is kewl, and they lull little boys into the false belief that such an activity is "fun"....

Seriously, though, it's an AWESOME item for a 12-18 month old and up...UNTIL, that is, they insert any number of items into the tube, thereby requiring you to perform "surgery" on the blasted thing in order to restore its functionality...

Another winner, in our opinion, is the "busy gears" thing (Fisher Price, I think) that has the removable turning gears on it. DS2 liked to take them off and stack them on his bizness when it was "angry"....he could fit three at a time (THAT'S my boy!)...

Of course, I had to turn on the lights and search for that blood-sucking insect! Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Saw him landed on my DH's arm... EEK!

Woke my poor DH up and he yelled, "Why are you hitting me?" Mad

That's actually what one of them does at one of my stores - that and collect carts and baskets laugh out loud

Confused How can it be 125% off? That would mean they were paying you 25% of the value of the item to take it out of the store. I've heard of overages, but that would really be something.
New Math Big Grin J/K - it's not 125% off - OP goofed the math..

"got 8 and used 2 Q's"???? If you bought 8 instead of the 10 you should have, you're no better than a common shoplifter, and people like you ruin hot deals for the rest of us.
If she bought 5, and the coupon took off for a free one, couldn't it be argued that she simply left the "free" card for the store? It was going to be free anyway. At least this way the store has more stock to actually sell. And even if you don't buy into that logic, the coupon isn't working the way it should. It's taking off 10 bucks for basically a 2.00-5.00 purchase, typically. So by your logic, ANYONE who uses this coupon is a shoplifter. And in this poster's case, we're talking about a .25 card. I'm thinkin' that to go off on her, and call her a common shoplifter might be just a bit over the edge.

I don't think that by not buying a 25 cent card that she will "ruin hot deals for the rest of us."

Please, take a deep breath and relax. Target, and all of us couponers, will survive.

I think the other poster pointed your post out because you bought EIGHT cards instead of TEN and used the 2 coupons..The coupon says buy 4 get 1 free, so you should have had 10..

Not comparing to a common shoplifter, but I agree on the ruining it for herself and other couponers that shop at that store.

Lots of stray cats are Horse in the sandbox these days.

Also, huh? 5 X .99 = 4.95. 9.99- 4.95 = 5.04 in free stuff.
It is a proven fact that alot of the posters in Hot Deals failed math. laugh out loud
