My store must have forgot to check their email....
I had to replace it with the Glade deal. Although that doesn't seem to be helping peeps anyway.
I think the holiday deals are bringing lots of us back....
So fine.. she gives me the day off I want (this was Friday). But nothing in the schedule book as of 11:30pm Friday. Today I come in and pull out the book (I have to cover some day shifts for her so wanted to write them all out). Well lo and behold.. she is working 6:45-2:45 M-F. Thats 40hrs, 37.5 with our unpaid lunch breaks. I am FURIOUS! It is written in all the way through middle of December. Meanwhile, my 40hr next to my name has been changed to 32 AND my Th all crossed off. What the hell do I do and how to I approach this?? Yes, it will be nice to have a day with my kids but 1) I could use those 8hrs until DH finds a job and 2) she LIED straight to my face about my day counterpart!

Anyways. I am having my first yard sale with all my loot. It is this Saturday and I was wondering if any of you pros had some advice for me! I already listed it on craigslist and the local classifieds but was wondering about signage and pricing...basically anything to lure em in! My town is pretty cash strapped so I thought close to the holidays would be good. I have tons of brand new toys and baby stuff..plus all the regular stuff..Anything is helpful..I am a total noob!

Compared to others I price a little high but I always sell well. I have done a couple garage sales and a flea market once per month.
Pantene 1.50 - I sell for 2 each, you can always come down on price
disposable razors 2.00 - I sold all razors for 4

I just put a small sign (sometimes a post it) in front of everything, I think price tags on new stuff makes it look cheap or used or something. Plus - it easier to change prices if you just have one sign. Also - I would not worry about ppl trying to say the price was diff, who cares, just do not sell to them. If anyone ever tries to deal on my new stuff I usually say " I can use it if I do not sell it"
