Wow, that's really annoying isn't it?? lol
My son had his out when he turned 5. It was rough for nearly 2 weeks for us. Not everyone's is that bad though. He got VERY nauseaus(sp?) for the rest of the day, vomited several times which did NOTHING for his stitches, and refused to drink which spiked a fever in him so bad we thought we would end up in the ER a few times. he has been sooooo much better now though (over 2 years later). No more ear infections, strep throat, snoring, etc. He had tonsils, adnoids removed, and tubes put in his ears all at the same time
Sorry about how sick he was - it is amazing how different people respond so differently to medicine/surgery! Glad he is better now
