I love WALOS's avitar - when I was little we had all the Mr Men characters in England and in fact there was a bank called Abby National which would give Mr Men little toys/books/incentives to kiddos who opened a savings account there. I still have some of those old books!

Personally (just personally-- not judging others) I wouldn't take "all" the peelies I saw on a display (unless "all" was like 1 or 2 or course Big Grin) for two reasons: 1) if you stand there forever taking them it greatly increases the chance an employee is going to see you doing this, and, right or wrong, it may cause a big hubub; 2) if I took them all, then I would feel responsible for putting them all to good use. Don't need that. shake head

But frankly, this is a sliding scale and once I admit I'm willing to take a few peelies (for my own personal use or a little sharing) then who am I to judge others? Dontknow

Calling/emailing corporate about peelies? Just likely to ensure we'll never see them again. Mad

On other matters me and DH both love the Mr. Men books as well. He has an extensive collection of the original books, given to him by an aunt who was living in GB at the time-- the books have been well-loved but will now be passed on to our little guy. Smilie

I also got him the "Mr. Strong" T-shirt as a gift. I got myself the "Little Miss Naughty" T-shirt. My mom took photographs of me a couple of weeks ago wearing it. It's quite tight so, with my "baby bump," gives whole new meaning to "Little Miss Naughty." Rofl2

And I agree complaining to corporate about it will just bring their demise ... sigh! I basically never call, and the few times I have has been when someone has been out and out rude (then it is really a personnel issue) I guess because I spent years working in retail and there are ways to politely say - No we won't accept a coupon and then there are ways to say "You dirty low-down-no-good-money-grubbing-coupon-frauding-too-many-kid-having-nasty-stinking-varmit!" That second way really seems a little over the top - don't you think? Wink

No one in my family likes flavored coffee so we just get the regular but I have heard others say that the vanilla is pretty good.

They aren't cheap, and the sizes run small (as I said Big Grin). I ordered a medium (my usual size) and even before I was pregnant, it was pretty much too tight to wear out of the house.

I do the same. Yesterday I found so many PS peelies I thought my eyes might explode. I took 10 and left probably 30 for the next person. Then I came home and PMd mamaoftwins2 and told her to get over there and get them (W near her house).

Of course all of this comes back to the fact that some people are finesse-less idiots and like to ruin it for the rest of us.

Sounds like me with the starbucks peelies! I have never seen one, I DID however see the residue on several bars. That is ok though - as I never saw any cheap starbucks that it would have gone with???

Oh and on a funny note - when I did go to Target I was picking thru the remnants of the Halloween stuff and they had precious little left - no drink mixes or blankets or anything. They did have a couple of costumes I picked up for my kiddos for dress-up ... then they had one hat and tiny cape which appeared to go together but they had no price tag, no sign on it - I am guessing there was a costume missing and that these two little things were accessories. So I took it to the Customer Service desk and said it has no tag and is missing pieces can I give you a dollar for them - the girl said - "No if it is missing pieces we will defect it out and get the full $29.99 for it" EEK! what???? Well - it wasn't worth $29.99 to me and she said there was nothing she could do. It wasn't worth arguing as I was tired and it was just a hat and cape thing LOL But do you think that is true? I mean about them getting the full $29.99 from the MF?

How come there are several of the same posts on both Deals and Chit Chat? It's so frustrating!
