This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.
All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

BTW~Hi hunnie
Didn't you two get your "Invisible" 3-D glasses through virtual mail, delivered by your Chippendale UPS man?
Break my glasses and my chippendale is all covered up! What a bad week
PM for info. like this please. Its being used "not as intended" so therefore not allowed on this thread!
I have been reading this board for the past few months and I am starting to get the hang of these Target deals. Thanks to all who have helped on this board, like crazy4vs. I haven't posted yet, but feel I must ask a question about all this. So it is ok to post about using a coupon for unintended use as long as you don't say this is what you are doing? As in this case the OP of the run posted their run less $ off coupon that they used. I don't see anyone chastising this poster, so this is ok?
Also for those asking about it how are they supposed to know the coupon is being used for unintended use if they don't ask? Are these posts suggesting that you PM anyone about any coupon used ever, because you never know when it was used for untended use? Or if the coupon seems to good to be true then surely it must be being used wrong, so PM for sure? I think it is very hard for a newbie especially to know when someone is posting runs with coupons used the wrong way. I guess I am not sure how this would be the person asking the questions fault. Shouldn't those posting, especially those who have been here a while know better more than those asking the questions. Also I thought the point of this board was to share and ask questions, if everything must be taken to PM what is the point?
It seems to me that the person who posted the run with using the wrong coupons is the one who made the unacceptable post according to the mods specifications. And the poster asking was just trying to find out what coupon was used to get this great deal. Had they not seen this post they would not have questioned how to get it. Am I misunderstanding the point of all of this?
If the questions about the coupons used is wrong, surely the posted run using the wrong coupons is wrong.

Run was posted showing q used not for itnended purpose. coupon was not specified.
poster asked which q was used
poster got chastised for asking in forum instead of pm'ing
new poster wants to know why OP was not chastised for posting a run using q not for intended purpose but poster was chastised for asking which q.

If one is subtle and posts -
I bought:
Train $35 used $5TQ
Glad Bags $12 used $2 MQ + $3 TQ
blah blah blah
no beeps
They DO NOT need to post the before & after cost because you know theywere able to use coupons to reduce their totals - They could be totally absolutely legit coupons or perhaps they may be a little fuzzy around the edges ---
Then YOU as the reader know that there are coupons out there (perhaps you know what coupons the poster is referring to/perhaps you do not) which *could* work for you. Then YOU as the reader send a PM to the poster as ask for specifics ... ie you could say "Hi Joe Bloggs - you posted that you used a $5 TQ for such and such an item could you give me more details please?"
I have found that most people are very agreeable and willing to help - not all, but if they are not don't worry and move on -
Posting about stretchy use of coupons will get the threads closed down and then NO ONE can help ANYONE! So if you don't know - don't ask on the thread - PM! It is easy
