This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Hey all
Thank for you help with my Walfart run yesterday. Found Tooth Tunes on clearance for $3.94. Secret Went nicely with the $3 Hopscotch Q from the USA today awhile back. Who knew that ToothTunes was made by Hasbro

Thanks again!

Oh, and all Halloween apparel was .50
Scored some cute boys zip up sweaters and a few onesies I figure I can sell at a sale next year before Halloween.

There IS a $5 toy Q for EBO.. I think its a book my friend got in the mail. I am 100% positive that we used it Saturday
Seriously, WTF???? mamaoftwins got the book in the mail and it wasn't in hers!

I was going to buy it the other day but they only had 1 mix so I decided to wait. Now I NEED this coupon! I mean really, how can I pay $5 for the EBO when I know I can get it for free!!!
Quote from plgffl :
Okay, I hope you guys do not get mad at me? Please dont! I have been religiously reading the target threads (sometimes reread it two or three times) to catch everything and i have been doing great I think Smilie

Anyhow, People have repeatedly said to pm a poster about their run. Well I pm'd 3 people about their runs and 2 were downright rude to me. They said that they would not give out the information and blah blah blah. I understand, really I do. I have been posting a lot in the drugstore forum lately, and helping out with keeping the cvs stuff going.

I just wanted to know if this is common treatment of newbies? I definitely hope to be a regular here. So far the target thread has been so awesome. I have glade giftbaskets done for all of my most important people. Its a very classy looking gift but it was a very cheap gift in my part. I have gotten the cranium bloom and other preschool games for my daughter.

Id love to be a help when I can, unfortunately the closest Target is over 1.5 hours away (although I am hoping to go later on today!) so it puts a bit of strain for me.

Thank you and I hope that I am not being a dumb newbie. I just wanted to know if this is what always happens??
No, this is not common practice among most of us. I will gladly answer your pm. I don't think I've never not answered a pm. I might not have given all the secrets out to someone with a couple posts, but I always answer pm's.

I've never had someone be rude in a PM, but I've had two people not answer PMs. To top it off, these people are regulars. I don't get it either. I think I've been very nice and always try to rep (as long as I don't need to spread the love first) and be thankful. Others have been very helpful and been very nice. One person I even PM'd a second time thinking maybe she didn't get my first PM but still no answer. But like I said, others have been very helpful and go that extra mile!!!!

She won the trip courtesy of a radio station she listens to in her town. She entered in their contest where you give them your name and if you hear your name, you have 30 minutes to call back. They called her name and she won $107 and then her name was put in the grand prize drawing. She was the grand prize winner. They had 5 options you could choose from and that was the one she chose.

Ive been cvsing for years, but never really paid attention to Target. Sure when we had a ST near my old house I would get the meat and stuff, but never maximized it out like I should have been doing. Its new but same concept and coming quickly Smilie

i will take you up on your offer sometime. Right now I am going through the T thread and copying and pasting every little thing that interests me. I have found that by far this is the easiest way for me to keep up. I also leave a post open that is the last one I read so I always know where I leave off. That thread just moves soooo quickly. I know I miss stuff all the time.

I really do appreciate it Smilie
You don't have to leave a post open. You can close your browser, and when you come back to SD, click on the "View First Unread" button that (for me) is just under the page numbers, toward the upper right of the window.

And don't take the rude PM'ers personally. They don't know you, so it can't be personal. The only time something like that can be taken personally is when someone you know well is rude to you. If they don't know you and are rude to you, then it's obviously their problem - not yours!

Welcome!

I listen to a few stations daily just for the purpose of WINNING (could careless about what music is on. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) ). This is the best way to get your freebies. laugh out loud My hands are busy typing, my eyes are on the monitor, and my ears are productive too. This week's winning: $25 Rite Aid GC & $15 Subway GC.

I won a family trip to Jamaica through the radio station too. That was the best gift ever and the kids talked about it for months. woot

Europe is a beautiful place to visit if there is ever an opportunity in your lifetime. Be prepare to spend your life-savings as well. EEK! It's EXPENSIVE.

Hi plgffl! wave You can always pm me. You've been awesome in the WAG threads. I'd be glad to help you in anyway I can.

I only time I've ever not answered someone is recently, in the Deals thread, a poster replied to one of my posts and demanded that I PM them about a question they had about my run. I thought that was pretty frickin' rude so I didn't PM them. I mean come on, how lazy can you get???

Wow, what a fabulous trip. Smilie Sorry you can't go-- make sure she brings you back lots of wine and chocolate. Big Grin (I hope you'll be able to have that stuff with your gallbladder surgery. EEK!)

We're leaving for Scotland and Ireland on Thursday. It is for work. Secret We're going to a two day conference and the other 8 days are completely free. Teehee

Used our miles to get first class tickets-- which is SOOOOO good since I didn't know I'd be 27 weeks pregnant when we made the reservations.

Anyway, it's going to be freezing and rainy, but who cares? I'll be away from my job and the house. woot

I know there is some kind of pledge Target coupon out there -- we didn't get it here in Colorado. I have some Pledge blinkies up for trade: Save $ 1.50 on any Pledge Furniture Care Product Bar Code: 9946500300787 exp 12-31-08

I also have Save $ 1.50 on any one 12oz bag of Seattle's Best Coffee Bar Code: 512919100783 exp 4/21/09

If these interest you -- shoot me a PM and I am sure we can work out a trade.

Thanks!

Thanks! I do love the deals, and I do not really do walgreens myself. I have just always been able to put deals together like nothing, and i love sharing it! (It makes me all warm and fuzzy when someone really gets good use out of my posts!)

Demanding is rude, really rude. I just do not understand that at all.

Ireland and Scotland? I am SOOOOO jealous! I have always wanted to go to Ireland, maybe for my honeymoon Smilie Have lots of fun there!
