Do you think it's too much to hope for wishing on another great T diaper giveaway? I'm almost out from last time...
I hope so. I totally ignored the last one since I don't have kids in diapers, then I had my sale and was Doh WHY didn't I get the diapers?

20% off your entire purchase at Crazy 8 (x Nov 16)
Just in case some of you don't know...Crazy 8 is from Gymboree. It is great for the kiddos. Lots less expensive and the clearance is really good when you catch it. Plus for shipping you can say it is a gift and get up to 3 gift boxes free with tissue and such thrown in the box. I save those for some of the secret orders and use the extras for birthday gifts and such. Oh and the shipping is a flat $5.
I would suggest ordering one size UP from what your child normally wears. I have noticed that they run a size smaller.

This is really OT so skip if you wish Smilie

My sister won a wine/chocolate tour trip to Europe. It includes all of this:

Travel to Europe for World Class Wine and Chocolates

The fabulous life heads to Europe for a wine and chocolate lovers dream. Your first class train travels to Belgium, France, Austria, and Italy where you'll taste the world's finest. From your private tour of the Godiva chocolate factory in Brussels to private wine tastings overlooking the beautiful vineyards of Strasbourg, France and Florence, Italy this is one trip that will have you toasting the fabulous life!

She asked me to go with her. It's for 2 weeks. Unfortunately, i had to say no. Frown i am having surgery in a few weeks. i have to take time off work for that and will not have enough vacation time to cover that trip to Europe. Frown

i just wanted to mope, that's all Smilie

OMG that is on my list of places to go before I die. Got a few but Europe is numero uno. I actually wanted to move there for a few years after college grad, but dh proposed and here we are.

Quote from sbhiggins :

We're leaving for Scotland and Ireland on Thursday. It is for work. Secret We're going to a two day conference and the other 8 days are completely free. Teehee

Used our miles to get first class tickets-- which is SOOOOO good since I didn't know I'd be 27 weeks pregnant when we made the reservations.

Anyway, it's going to be freezing and rainy, but who cares? I'll be away from my job and the house. woot
Whoa two more great places to go!! Have fun!

Quote from Devilmomma :
I need some ideas from all you great moms that pack lunches for your kids in school. What the heck do you pack for them besides a sandwich and chips?? I need some ideas, My kids would be ever so grateful!!!
DD loves loves loves mac and cheese that you microwave, but not the ones that come in a cup. She has to have the packets and make it in her own ziploc container. She says the ones in the cup taste "plasticy"
Plus, just a mommy/teacher major quirk of mine is seeing all of those kiddos take out their hot sandwich that has been sitting in their locker for roughly 4 hours and eating it. Bologna and mayonnaise seems to be the staple. Really any lunch meat and condiments. vomit

Seriously what adult would eat that and yet they send it to school with the kiddos in a paper bag with no ice pack. Why not pack a pb&j? It is thoroughly disgusting. End of rant!

You can keep it forever and it will become DIRT. ArielA's DH can make some use out of it.Rofl2

J/K I have no idea. I can let you know in a few years, since I'm not allowing my kids to play with Playdough. Big Grin
Ok I did the playdough for dd and much to my dh ocd we only used it in the kitchen on the tile and on the play table. When she was done, we left it out over night. Yes, left it. That's where the ocd went wild. I cleaned up the pieces that were clean and then left the playdough and any pieces that had dough in or on them. It would dry and I could quickly wipe it off the table and sweep up the floor. . It would even literally fall out of all of those tiny holes say in the barber shop where the "hair" grows.

Otherwise, I had this one small squishy ball of dough and I would smash it into each tiny piece I could find on the table, etc and it would take forever to get them all ~ driving me bonkers trying to find them.

Of course this is if you have a place to keep it out of the way that won't bother you and if your ocd doesn't drive you insane.

At least you can get gender neutral colors now. Boys like to bake too so why should it be all girly?
Oh well, since my kids and I have recently had to go gluten free easy bake treats are a nono now. shake head vomit
yeah, wish they made gender neutral colors LAST year. My DS has a lovely pink one from last Christmas. Would love to trade it for this year's BLUE model but I'm not buying another one. I think I still have about 20 Betty Crocker mixes from Sept to use.

SuperTarget has gluten free mixes for brownies and cakes. I know there's a way you can take regular food mixes and make easy bake treats for them.

Quote from Scilady :
Ok, so what is everyone going to use for bags or baskets for all these "gifts" we have for teachers, etc? I need some ideas.

So far I have written down to include this in them....

Glade &/or Febreeze
Starbucks choc
Hershey's Bliss
Planters nuts

What else am I missing?! TIA
You're missing Wallflowers, of course. And thank you cards. nod
Personally, I was thinking of heading to Kmart and buying a Barnes and Noble $25 GC, then going to B&N and changing that $25 card to a $15 and $10 card. Probably better to get 2 cards at K, then change them into 5 $10 cards, or $15, $15, $15, and $5 for yourself.

If you have a Costco nearby, they are selling five $20 Starbucks cards for $80. Or something around that price. So if you have a lot of people to pass out GCs too, that's a good price. But that's really too much money. LMAO Does K have Starbucks cards?

So shameless plug alert:

Any ppl that watch mythbusters, my hubby will be on the episode tonight Smilie
What is the Episode called? I love that show! I will have to look for that one...

DevilMomma... I was sent two copies of the Red Toys Book. It's not the Big Toy Book that came in the Sunday paper, these were thinner Toy Books. Both had $5/50 Qs. Thumbsup Shamefully I forgot to use one today.... guess I'll have to make another run tomorrow.
Anyways, they both have the $5 TQ for the EBO. I will send you the TQs, I don't need them. As I said, we have a lovely PINK one sitting in the back room. At least my DD likes it, too. And we have soo many mixes or I'd put on my invisible glasses and get some Sugar Cookies...

If I can't find you addy in my PM files I'll PM you tomorrow to get it and send them off.

If anybody wants to use the TQ for $5 off the EBO online, the code is TGHDYZZ.

Who was looking for a play kitchen? We bought a play kitchen for my DD last year. Bought this Step 2 one at WM for $90 last year http://www.walmart.com/catalog/pr...id=5903083

I bought a HUGE set of food on the Amazon After Thanksgiving Toy Sale for 75% off. It's a small enough kitchen it can stay in the living room and she still plays with it.
they had a good amount of kitchens at WM right now with free shipping to store
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/ca...cat=133035

somebody (TRU?) had a nice wooden KidKraft kitchen for $99. That's the one we wanted last year but it was $150 at the time.

I tried sending the banana buddies to a friend but I see no FAQs on the page now! how sad...

Actually, everything is now "Dec Page", quicker and shorter. Haven't used that term in a long time, since we don't want to explain 100 pages.

2 leap frog Fridge toys
1 cranium game
16 glade candles
paper paltes
18 AF coffees
some bagels
some Goody hairbands

all for $5 and some change on a GC
and added 20.00 to my GC stockpile..

Too much fun for me.
That is great!

Im liking this thread more and more. This website is so darn addictive! I have to cut myself off tomorrow though. I am going out of town for two weeks and I *NEED* to get my coupons organized. Does anyone else find coupons in their bathroom drawers, their purses, their pants pockets, all over the car, on top of the dresser, in the kitchen drawers or is it JUST me?????? Sheesh!

As for the EBO..I have no fricken clue! There's the $5 PS peelie and the free mix q, that's all I have been able to find. Unless someone used the Hasbro or Playskool $5 game q from the book on the EBO and got confused, I Dontknow I've given up trying to figure it out. I'll use 3 PS peelie (1 for the oven and 2 for the mixes) and the free mix q. That will get me to $5 for all of it. Easy peasy to cover with overage, so free for me!
Puppy Chow = a yummmy homemade treat (fun to make with kiddos -

I dont mind the work! I add two cans of tuna in now (we use albalcore, i am not really a good coupon person with some things LOL. I save enough money on everything else so I dont really care! How would you suggest making it by scratch?

I had a great Target run today Smilie
Here is one way to make it -
2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
2 cans (10 1/2 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded mild Cheddar cheese or American cheese
2 cups frozen veggies (I mix it up peas, carrots, green beans, broc etc)
1/2 cup finely minced onion (this is dependent upon your kiddo liking onion)
1 can (4 ounces) sliced mushrooms, drained
2 large cans tuna, drained and flaked
(You can add biscuits to the top or breadcrumbs or crushed potato chips)

Prepare macaroni according to package directions; drain well. Combine macaroni with remaining ingredients; pour into a large (3-quart) casserole. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

(There is also a slow cooker version - )

Glad you had a good run to Target - didn't get there today - MUST get there tomorrow - wish me luck!
