Kazey,

I tried to get my DF to use $32 in ecb that was going to expire that day. Forget it! He said no. He hates , I mean HATES shopping though. Will sit all day in the truck to avoid shopping. He better love that I save him money though!

I have one target and it is 1ish hours away, I have another one (that is ST) that is 2.5 hours away. Needless to say I make roadtrips Wink

Quote from sungoddess7 :
OMG Wow, I could never pull off 4 Target trips in one day!! DD would absolutely kill me! laugh out loud

Oooh, thanks for the price check. That would work out to be $2.99 for the brush? I will need to make it there tomorrow!! I need the TP and brush and Brawny and other stuff!! Wink
Yup, but if you buy a small brush that is 4.99 you will actually be paying $4 for all 3 of them Smilie (Use the $5/$20)

I think the chat thread has always been in the lounge-lounge=no reps, right? Scratchhead Scratchchin
You make sure the school nurse has an epi pen for your child, and train your child to not touch other peoples food. PB&J IS the same wonderful sandwich it used to be, only some small percent of kids have allergies to it, and yes safety measures should be taken, by the parent of the affected children and the school, but I am agains banning foods.

With that said my children just plain don't like peanut butter. I have never been able to get them to eat it. I have made them try it, and sometimes they will enjoy a peanut butter cookie that is it.

I work in a private school cafeteria and see a wide range of foods. We also have a peanut free lunch table that gets wiped off with clorox wipes before the allergic kids come in, including wiping down chairs. All the kids have epi pens with the nurse and us lunch ladies have our cell phones handy.

We have had food allergies as well ( why do people insist on putting walnuts in salads, or brownies? Why do people think Almond extract belongs in punch?) We and the food allergy kids I know even as young as preschool, don't eat anything until we know it is safe.

Wow, lucky girl!! I wish my DH would get into coupons/shopping... He has no desire whatsoever!! He had no concept of saving money when I first met him! I was EEK! with his spending habits and how much he was spending on stuff that you could get for cheap/free!! It was horrifying!! laugh out loud He will, at least, now help me cut the coupons from the inserts. It's a big thing for him to do! Teehee
That's one thing I won't let him do, he seems to always cut half the barcode off, I think it's his elaborate scheme to keep me at home on my days off LMAO

Is there a Brawny deal...? I have several $1.50 coupons I bought for Kmart, but they don't sell individual rolls.

My Goody coupons got rejected last time... Sadwalk
It's not the best deal in the world for the Brawny... They are on sale for $5.99 (8 rolls pk) and the $1.50 MQ brings it to $4.49 (which will work ok with the $5/$20 Q along with the TP). That's what I was thinking, anyway. Embarrassment

Eeew, that sucks that the Goody Q was rejected. Sometimes the cashiers get really finicky!! nod

Ah, thanks for that tip... I tried looking for the smaller brushes at a Wags earlier in the week and didn't have any luck. Maybe the other Wags will have them. I'll have to find a post on the "other side" to rep ya! Wink

laugh out loud What a sneaky guy!! My DH cuts the coupons out one by one while watching football. Cool I told him to stack the inserts together and use the paper cutter, but he insists on doing it "his" way. laugh out loud Hey, whatever works!! nod

I went to wags today, i only got the butter since i have .50 q's for that, and I had to explain to the cashier that she can take the q's even though it had a groc. store symbol on it.
I hate when manufacturers do that!

How'd you like to have my kid?.......any sandwich can make him sick, or doritos, or cookies, or anything with gluten in it. I want to send him to the cafeteria in a bubble.laugh out loud At least its not an immediately life threatening allergy like peanuts...but still the symptoms of Celiac Disease suck when you get glutened.

I recently signed up for Crazy 8 newsletters for coupons and had no idea they were the same company! Is the quality as good as Gymboree???

Here's the info about Gymboree and Crazy 8. I don't think it is the SAME quality, but I think it is really good quality and the prices are great mostly, at least for the dozen items I have bought. http://www.crazy8.com//our_compan...6720924254

Question on the Mac N Ch. Does DD make it at home and keep it in a thermos? Just making sure, no microwaves avail for kids at school here.
Sorry, no. Microwaves available here. Just the long wait in the line! I premeasure water and put it in a ziplock container and she knows how to do the rest. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to premake it though and a thermos would keep it warm.

hello everyone. If anyone has the Easy Bake Oven or have used it, do you think a girl whose almost 10yrs old would like it? I initially thought that my DH's god daughter just turned 9 and was thinking of getting it for her for Christmas but just realized she must be closer to 10... any help will be greatly appreciated... Thank you in advance Smilie

I don't even know what to give to kids on this age range Confused
I have a 10 yo and her EBO has not been used in 2 years except that she will get it out when little ones come over though. I think this one is better for the 5-8 yr range. And for those of you that have one, we would bake a cake, muffins, etc in our kitchen and dd would get out her EBO and we would use a couple of spoonfuls of it to make her own in her own oven.

My suggestions for a 10 yo girl would be cd's (Hannah Montana, any of the girls from High School Musical, etc), dvds, iTunes gc, purses, Target gc, games for whatever video system she has especially Nintendo DS, lipgloss, earrings, bracelets.... that's off the top of my head. I can think of more if needed.

Wow our tables are wiped down between classes, but there's no peanut free zone. And I agree educate your child about the seriousness of an allergy he/she has because there is no child that eats only his/her lunch every single day. There is much trading and taking off of other's plates every single day without a thought of cleanliness, allergies and such. It's not "allowed" in our schools and you can't even begin to count how many trades happen each day ~ even the little bitties in kindergarten know who has the good stuff.

Yeah..but as a guy, you'll usually find it easier to use Q's. Don't know why, but I hand DH a stack of Q's and a cart? He just smiles his way through every transaction, never an issue. Mad They'll take anything from him. (It might help that he's totally not the Q type...they're probably dazzled by the "long hair" that actually cut coupons!!

I was standing behind him in line the other night as he did a glade transaction. He had 2 B2G1 and 2 $2.00 blinkies. He bought 4 refills. The girl started reading and said..."oh, I can only take two of these". I say..I'm sorry dear, I must have given you too many by mistake.

HE SAYS....."just try it, I bet it will work". She DID!!EEK! And of course it worked. I give up. LMAO

Is it positive feedback? Does it look like she's had other problems?

I looked back and she had some negative feedback before the whole feedback change. She also bought some of the same coupon the day after she bought from me. I will make this bitch's life a living hell if she's lying. This is why I shouldn't sell on ebay. Evillaugh

Ariel,

I know I am new to this thread and my opinion might not be that helpful but we had one of these. Keyword had. I bought it at Target and I bought and returned 5 before i gave up (from 3 different stores). The darn thing constantly would break, lose its charge within a few minutes (even though it says battery life is 2 hours. I hated that the screen was so tiny also. My honest opinion is get one of these from Target:

http://www.target.com/Audiovox-Ru...rh=&page=1

It has been a much better deal. I have owned it for 67 days now, lol. It has been dropped, left in the heat of the car, the battery holds up WONDERFULLY. I was worried because its not a "name" brand, but it was the best decision I made.

I am sorry if I offend you with my comments, I hope I do not, just trying to share my advice with you.
Oh hun, I am not easily offended and am always open to suggestions. In fact Double told me not to get it to, but I am hard headed laugh out loud I have a different portable DVD player on my amazon shopping list, I just have to buy it laugh out loud Thanks for your opinion though, and never worry about offending me. Anyways, if you do, I will let you know Grin

Yeah, the pink was super cute, but not worth it to have to return it all the time.

I am looking at this one for the girls:
