This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I looked back and she had some negative feedback before the whole feedback change. She also bought some of the same coupon the day after she bought from me. I will make this bitch's life a living hell if she's lying. This is why I shouldn't sell on ebay. Evillaugh
Hmm...this almost plays out as someone who in desperate need of money. People resort to the weirdest things. If she was going to file an item not received, you think she would have done it long before now. Or maybe my weekend mailman was transferred to her route! My neighbors and I are always bringing each other the right mail on Sundays..shake head

I listed a snowmobile for my brother once on Ebay. Got a call about 1 hour before the auction ended that the snowmobile had been stolen! (I still think that was a lie!) At that point, I could only let the auction finish. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) What a mess that turned out to be. I haven't listed much since then. Got turned off to the whole thing. Though, my fault for not insisting that the sled be brought to my house if I was going to list it.

I'm sitting here wrapping my free Cranium kiddie games, and after that I'm going to start wrapping all of my free Transformers, and then I'm moving on to free Hot Wheels, and if I haven't collapsed in exhaustion I'll start on my mountain of free Playdoh.

Thank you so much for making this a VERY cool, VERY free Christmas!

You make sure the school nurse has an epi pen for your child, and train your child to not touch other peoples food. PB&J IS the same wonderful sandwich it used to be, only some small percent of kids have allergies to it, and yes safety measures should be taken, by the parent of the affected children and the school, but I am agains banning foods.

We have had food allergies as well ( why do people insist on putting walnuts in salads, or brownies? Why do people think Almond extract belongs in punch?) We and the food allergy kids I know even as young as preschool, don't eat anything until we know it is safe.
Quote from frugalmama :
How'd you like to have my kid?.......any sandwich can make him sick, or doritos, or cookies, or anything with gluten in it. I want to send him to the cafeteria in a bubble.laugh out loud At least its not an immediately life threatening allergy like peanuts...but still the symptoms of Celiac Disease suck when you get glutened.
my DD has peanut, milk and shellfish allergy so far. We monitor her very closely, but it is hard when she also has speech issues, and other issues we are looking into. I wasn't implying that it was everyone else's job to monitor my child. I work my ass off to teach her about her own limitations and responsibilities for food choices. She has a lot of trouble communicating and we work very hard on that. Before I had an allergic child, I also had the attitude of "It's your problem that your child has issues, not mine". We feel so blessed that our child gets to sit all by herself at a specially marked table isolated from other children Frown Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Oh, and it's documented that food allergies are on the rise. I have studied the literature. I didn't pull that out of my ass. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I just got this sent to me from a friend and I'm not even sure if we are allowed to post things like this here but it looks kind of neat.

Anyway, you fill out this form and mail it in along with $5 (which goes to the Optimists Club of Arkansas fight against cancer - I think it's specifically childhood cancer) and your child gets a personalized letter from Santa. What I found to be espeically interesting is that instead of the normal form letter that inputs your childs name this one looks like it will mention specific things as requested by you (i.e. something they need to work on and/or a specific toy that they want).

Again, if posting this is a no-no, I'm sorry, just let me know and I'll delete it but I thought some of you might be interested.

awww Tootsie, I'm so sorry your dd has to be isolated from other children. Having an illness or a special needs child can be exhausting and heartbreaking at times. I know this from experience. hug hug to all kids and parents out there struggling with health/learning problems.
