When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! I don't see why that wouldn't work! Like I said, I have never had any of the Wisp peelies, so thus haven't added them in to my scenarios. I know the $3/1 works, so no reason the $5/1 wouldn't work either! Big Grin Cool!
Ok, I don't understand the math on this AT ALL, but I'm willing to try almost anything once. Does it matter where the Wisp is when you put your stuff on the belt at checkout? I know sometimes that matters at T.

I don't get why it works, either, but somehow it does! I always put the Wisp first, just for my own personal comfort, but one time, the cashier did mix it up, and the 6.99 still came off twice. I just always remember what Whee would say - that order of items in cases like this are so important, and if the cashier dared to interfere with her setup on the belt, she would go all OCD and freak out on the guy, telling him things HAD to be in the EXACT order she put them there... laugh out loud I seriously think of her every time I do the Glade deal, which has been ... well ... a lot. Big Grin

I did not get an answer on the J&J question, so thanks for your help. Will definitely try it there. And there's a J&J cat printing, too, right?

Don't hit me if this has been asked and answered over and over, but I assume this only works for the B2G1 Qs and not the B1G1 Qs, right?

Sorry for the long post....

Strangest thing happened to me today. I haven't been to Target in awhile but stopped in today to see what was going on since deals thread is Insane

Did the glade deal...I normally hand the cashier a GC that I am trying to build up the balance on. My cashier today tells me that he can't do that & pulls one out of his drawer, scans it & hands it over. I am asking why not, why not...he is moving so fast. I just say what the hell forget it.

As I am walking out, I check my receipt & it says GC balance $25.00!!! I just ignore it.
When I get back to work..I do the check your balance on their site and notice indeed the GC he gave me has a balance of $25. Apparently, someone had it with $5 on it, used the $5 then $10 was added then $10 more was added then my $5 today but I am not sure why the $20 didn't get used. At any rate, the amts were applied in CO & I am in TX Confused
This was awfully strange ... I am not complaining but has anyone else had that happen?
I have had cashiers tell me that the GC value was deducted during the trxs but I always tell them nope but even then, they normally trash them.

Just curious.

Yes, that has been my experience. Only the B2G1s work like this.

I have never had exactly that happen before, but I did have a situation once where somehow the kid screwed up my transaction, put several gift cards I *should* have received back in his drawer. Had to end up going to customer service, took forever to figure it out, but instead of searching through his drawer to find the activated ones, they just gave me another set of gift cards! And I know the other ones weren't deactivated, as they never scanned my receipt or anything. So someone was going to get a nice surprise when they got a gift card w/purchase! Smilie

LOL - I have never had that happen - but hey! Think of it as a nice day for you Smilie

Haven't been able to do the Glade thing with the b2g1 as I don't have any - I have however bought 4 candles with 4 $2/1 coupons ... there aren't any Q's on the inside of the candles though. LOL

Different question - If I wanted to buy an iPod for my older daughter for Christmas - so I thought I might buy 1 at Target. On BF they are going to have the 8GB Nano on sale for $145.99 (instead of $149.99) but you get a $15 giftcard. If I bought one of the Nano's on Monday or Tuesday and then went in on BF would they price adjust it to the $145.99 and give me the $15 giftcard (I woul be willing to do a return and rebuy of it right there on the spot) or would they not let me do that? Thoughts?

Thanks guys!!!! Oh and don't worry guys I will be mailing out the envies in the morning Smilie

PS - Why can some people add 4 reps and others only add 1?
Hugs - D

Hmmm - that has got my mind thinking Wink Any chance you could do 1 wisp and 3 scented oil refills, then use 2 B2G1s, 1 $5 wisp peelie (if you've got them), and then another glade Q ($2/1) - would it work like this???

1 Wisp = $6.99
3x oil refills = 3x$2.50 ($6.50)
total = $13.49

Qs used:
2 B2G1 = - $6.99 x 2
1 $5 peelie = -$5
1 $2 Q = -$2
total Qs = $20.98

and then $5 GC

That would be niiiiccceee Big Grin

drool ok, I will definately be trying that tomorrow! I have two $5 peelies to use. Was saving them for K but this is so much better! When did the Wisps go from $9.99 to $6.99 again? Or am I thinking of the wrong thing?

thank you thank you thank you ladies!!

My car battery died, so no car for me since Sunday. I was so sad I couldn't get more TGIF. They FINALLY refilled the cases Sat, after not having them for 2 weeks. And here I am sitting with NO car to get them. We're off to Costco to get a new battery, I will be at T first thing in the morning tomorrow. I may have to hit 2 of them to make me feel better about missing a couple days.

That happened to me. I handed him a gift card but he said they had to put them on a gift card they have in the register, then took out a bundle in a rubberband. I assume they are saving money giving us a paper GC.

Please report back your findings. I was going to try it tonight, but the kids were acting all squirrely right out of the car so we just did a quick peelie hunt instead. I also have a few of the $5 that I was saving for K, but you're right... this is WAY better.
