This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! Hi everybody!
Got a question for you guys. Which doll would you get for a 2 year old and a 4 year old. I can't decide which ones I should give my girls for Christmas.
Baby Chou Chou Bye Bye
Baby Chou Chou First tooth
Baby Chou Chou Mommy Make me better

I was reading about then and they all sound so cute! Now I know why they are over $30.00. or if anybody has any of these, do your kids play with them often. TIA.

Ok, dd got one of these last christmas from her grandma...she was about 18 months. She just recently started playing with it. If it's the same doll it's a pretty heavy doll for a 2 y/o to lug around. She's almost 3 now and she's a little tough girl and loves it now.

Just a forewarning....it really sucks when the stupid thing starts crying in the middle of the store and you don't have it's pacifier and of course you can turn it off, unless your child is like mine and knows what you are doing and freaks out lol

Is it possible to somehow get a baby to move its position? This little one is somehow sitting squarely on a nerve in my lower back (or it feels like she is!) and its making me miserable!! Maybe if I stand on my head, gravity will pull her down?! laugh out loud

OK, back to lying down and reading my book, waiting for the kids to wake up from their nap.

I've heard the Dyson's are heavy. Check out the slim's. I have an Oreck love it. This vacuum has been "taking a licking and keeps on ticking" for 10 years now.

Thanks Thrifty Smilie I just saw that on BF, Target will have the pink Dyson DC07 for 399.99 with a $100GC. Im doing some research on this model but haven't seen anything on how it weighs... I would love to have a lightweight vacuum for a change. nod

Here's the scoop - check out this linkie [1stsitefree.com]. Towards the bottom are the char codes for these symbols. Use the "numeric" reference ones, and don't forget the semi colon at the end...

Ariel, IDK if you want Becky or me to help you with a bag - that could be an expensive venture laugh out loud I'll look for some shoe ideas for you though... I'm a self admitted bag wh0re, but am all about the comfy shoes (and I don't drop serious cash on something that is going to go on my feet and get stinky) Rofl2

Oh no... I was hoping on getting a light weight vacuum. I have to check these models in the store before BF then and see... We don't need a dyson animal so hopefully there is something lighter out there for us Cool

Thanks for the list of codes. Is it nerdy of me that I bookmarked that page?!?!?! Bigeye

laugh out loud ok let me clarify the bag, I need cheapish. I figure I can find a cheap, nice evening/date bag at amazon. I went to Ross (bc I am cheap Big Grin) and they had ugly snit!!! So yeah.
The shoes, its not so much about the $$$, its that I am not sure which style looks good with it? I can't do super high or super pointy (toe or heel), and I like a good base under me (less likely to falllaugh out loud) I did see some nine west sling backs with a peep toe (i think that is what is called) in a basic black shinny shoe that was pretty cute and only $25 or so at Ross, but I wasn't sure. I got stressed and left laugh out loud May have something to do with only getting 4 hours of sleep last night Dontknow but I couldn't deal with it then and figured it was best to come get opinions from you guys Smilie

I found this absolutly hilarious although I think it should be changed to Kmart bingo. I've already started on the kool-aid (I'm east coast so it's already 5 for me) so I apologize if it's not really as funny as I am finding it right now.

Hmmm... those shoes actually sound like they would be pretty good, considering what you are looking for. IMO, you need a heel of sorts (can't pull off ballet flats with that dress), but you wouldn't want to pair it with anything too "clunky" - it has to be more of an elegant shoe. You might be able to find a slingback or slip on low heel. But like I said, the shoe you described sounded good!

Off topic (for chat)
I need to get some more elmo bandaids for DS1 (J&J) - I still have some $3/3 Qs johnsons Qs around here somewhere, but they are expired. As is the $5/3 printable that included johnsons (besides the 992 factor). Anyone have any tips for free/cheap J&J bandaids at T?
