I have 2 work deadlines today, my car emissions test and planned to hit 2 targets. Going to crank out work now, hopefully will get it done by 2 or so. We'll see.

That target magnavox TV on black friday is the best deal out there on a small TV I think. Any other opinions?

Also, for those of you with fairly new computers, did you buy an extended warranty? Our computers are almost a year old and having issues. We're thinking of purchasing another year on them.

I have never bought an extended warranty. Then again, I have never really had any problems w/the computers/laptop I have purchased. My laptop is a year old and still works great w/the exception of the battery. Speaking of computers, have any of you bought the leapfrog clickstart? I was trying to help my mom get a deal on gifts for my nephew/niece who will both be about 2 1/2 at christmas and was wondering if this was a good idea. I wasn't sure if they may be too young for it. I don't have kids, therefore am clueless.

Don't forget to bring the coupon for a free body scrub, too. I walked out of there with 2 lipglosses, cotton panty, and body scrub for $7 or so. When I checked out my receipt printed out a xx/xx coupon so I'm debating going back and getting another round of free stuff. I have NEVER shopped in that store before. Too much for me usually (among other reasons...)

we don't buy an extended warrenty for anything but electronics. I bought one for my laptop and have had the power cable die (and replaced) twice in 1.5 years. I buy it for my cameras and camcorders, too. We made the mistake of buying a digital camera from Costco this spring. It is only covered by the manu warrenty. After 6 months it started getting a blurry signal for almost all the settings. Every time I think about sending it back, I think of all the pictures I will miss out on the baby. And now I think it was taken so that's what I'm looking for BF...

I love my Dyson, it's 5 years old now and still going strong. My mom has back problems and she says it is a VERY heavy vaccuum for her.

Just a hint... each of the 07 models is the exact same vaccuum, as is the 14s, 15s, etc. We have the DC 14 full one. The difference betwen the version I have and the Animal version are the accessories and the pet care clean up set (and who doesn't have other cleaners in the house?). If you don't use accessories much, buy the cheap yellow version that don't come with many accessories. It's the exact same vaccuum as the other vaccuums in that series, just different colors and different accessories. Check out Kohl's for vaccuums, too; I've heard of people getting great deals on Dysons when they combo all the discounts. Esp right now when you get the extra money back.

Arial... I am SURE you checked out Kmart for shoes Rofl2 It is B1G150% off remember... Sears actually doesn't have that bad shoes, if you happen to have an extra gift card for them.

Rebecca's Qs are 20% off today, I'm goign to order my Kmart double coupons. And a bunch more Dove revitilizers, boy I love my face looking nice

Got an email from Sears photos for 20% off total purchase next week. I think we may do family pictures. I can fwd the coupon to anyone if they want it, if I know you... Big Grin

I know a few people were looking for kitchens for the kids, but was anyone looking for the Dora Folding Kitchen? If so, Kohls has it on sale today for $64.99. There's an additional 20% off select toys today making it $51.99. You can add an additional 10% off with code HOLIDAY338, which will take it down to $46.79 plus tax. There's free shipping on orders over $50, so you can add a small filler to get back to $50.

If you have a Kohls card, use code NOVPICK30 for an additional 15% instead of the 10%.

Here's the link to the select toys that are included int he extra 20% off sale today.

Ummm fyi, that kitchen is crap. Hard to beleive i had it, but I did. Sold it on Craigslist this past w/e. It is very flimsy and tips over at the drop of a hat. . My son wasnt insted in it at all. Save your money but something more durable and fun.

We have learned the hard way to buy extended warranties on computers. We have a Dell that overheated and is dead. We have another Dell that the sound card is messed up and it's part of the motherboard so we won't be replacing that. We did buy an extended warranty on a Toshiba and have used it twice! Once the computer locked up and was asking for a password when we never had a password on the computer...something about BIOS and a Toshiba update needing to be done that only the service centers can do. Then another time something else happened...can't remember now. But I use the Toshiba for work so it needs to be working at all times!

That does sound like a cute DVD. We tivo the episodes... Has anyone noticed that Bob's voice changed about a month ago - they must have hired someone else to do his voice. It is still bothering me. They even went back and re-voiced over some of the old segments that they re-use in the new episodes. Weird...

The first TV obsession in house was Jack's Big Music Show, which is still our fall back. Then came Bob the Builder and Thomas. Recently DS discovered Wonder Pets (which drives me nuts - reminds me of South Park spoofs) and the Backyardagains - that is his latest and greatest. Smilie

My kid's newest discovery is the upside down show. Even my 7 year old falls over in peals of laughter. It's a really stupid show, but the guys are quite clever with pantemimes and if they sold DVDs I'm sure I'd try to get one with overage.

My 7mo old is sitting up with a play tea set spoon sticking out of her mouth like a big cigar Big Grin

Trang, pop into the So CA grocery thread and post you are looking for guides in So CA. There are a few people in the LA area on that thread. I'm too far south to know LA drugstores and Ks.
