Just a PSA: If people are interested in a digital version of The Economist, check the digital services at your local library. My library provides the rb digital service (formerly "zinio for libraries") that includes The Economist, The Atlantic, New Yorker, and other magazines for free.
Not a bad price but FYI to all:

Please note: this subscription is for the print edition only and does not include digital access.
No, we never auto-renew subscriptions at higher rates. During checkout, you can choose to enable our "DiscountLock" feature which will give you the option to have the subscription renew at the same discounted rate (i.e. lock in your discount). That option is completely optional, and not forced.

Sorry, this offer is only available for 1 year.

Is there an Economist deal that has both digital and print access?

Hi MfiuneKinski,

The deal from the last go round was less than a month ago. This magazine will take 8-10 weeks for the first issue to deliver. So I would expect it to arrive late this month or early next month.

Please PM me your order number if you'd like me to look into this further.

Have a great day!

Good deal for a great magazine. FYI i now get the digital version for free each week through the library. Can read through the zinio libraries app on iPad and iPhone.

Hi Smilie

I just responded to your PM with a more specific date on when you should expect your magazine, but please allow the industry standard time of 8-10 weeks from the date of your order for your first issue to arrive.

Does this autorenew at a higher rate at the end of one year?

And is there a multi-year coupon similar to the one back in 2016? ($99 for 2 year, etc.)?

While that is a good option, I got hooked to the audio edition, which is the entire issue (including the UK-only articles). This is anywhere between 7-9 hours, can be listened to while commuting, cutting the grass, etc.

The only way I found to get the audio edition is to pay for a digital subscription. Did anybody figure out other alternatives?
