This is designed to be an ultralight packable windbreaker similar to the $100 Patagonia Houndini (though not as good IMO). Excellent deal if that fits your needs.

Their name for it is misleading. The "Ghost" jacket is well known and many people really love it. This tries to capitalize on that without having any relation in specs to the original coat.

Reading 'Lite' made me thing that it was just a lighter weight jacket. Not a windbreaker that shares nothing with the Ghost.

So I get the comment.

Good Deal, but I thought this was going to be the original Ghost Down. It is not. This is the Ghost Lite. It is neither a down jacket, nor original Ghost material.

Great windbreaker but edit the title so it shows it is the Lite model. A lot different jacket vs. the Ghost.

Looks like an nice alternative to a Patagonia Houdini or a Montbell Tachyon. Probably won't shed much precip other than a light shower.

This is a great deal for Mountain Hardware. I have one of their heavier winter jackets and it is by far the best coat I've ever owned (over 8 years of daily use in the winter and still in great shape). If this was waterproof I would buy it in a heartbeat.
