Last year this company ran a similar deal for $390, which I purchased so now I am on their mailing list.
This one seems to be better - it still gives you a permanent license of OrCAD Capture, but also a permanent board layout tool. It claims it is the Allegro product, but with less features...
I've used my Capture license a lot over the past year for side projects. I was surprised to see there are job postings that show Apple, Snapchat, and GoPro also use this to design their products.
Just passing it along...hopefully someone trying to get started finds it useful. Better than Eagle (now owned by Autodesk, shockingly), KiCAD, Altium etc...
