Was looking to get in on the galaxy s7 edge deal, and it appears best buy just started running the above financing deal on the galaxy s8. Pretty solid.

I think Sprint is clearing out its inventory to prep for merger. We've been seeing all sorts of deals on Sprint phones lately.

What merger is that? Is there one unofficially-officially confirmed?

Deals are carrier-specific precisely because carriers use them to get people to sign up for their service.

i.e., Sprint is desperate for subscribers = a lot of enticing deals
ergo, no ATT deals = ATT isn't in need

because AT&T are a bunch of greedy bastards and all of their deals have direct tv showed down our throats. Verizon and Sprint are coming up with a lot of deals. AT&T use to have BOGO deals but now you need to buy Direct TV as well to get BOGO which Sucks

I just signed up for three two days ago, and the price for each phone was actually less: $14.59/month * 24 months = $349 total. This was for being new lines, I'm sure. The S8+ option was $449 total. See "SAVE $350 ($14.59/mo.)" on the BB product page for confirmation.

I hate you T-Mobile. T-Mobile is the worst when it comes to phone deals now. They don't offer any deals through the major electronic stores and their deals usually involve getting a new line (BOGO) and require that you upgrade to their T-Mobile One (only plan). No wonder they're making money and catching up to Verizon and AT&T. Throw your legacy loyal customers a bone, T-Mobile

Definitely double check how the payoff portion works. Best Buy typically finances the phone and you pay only the prorated monthly remaining amount. Unlike if the carrier is financing, if you leave in under 24 months before full pay off, you are stuck with the finance amount. It's probably in the fine print but definitely well worth verifying first to ensure you have flexibility going forward

merger is bad for consumers. sprint might be clearing it out due to lack of sales. nobody wants to be on sprint network.

Haha. Tmobile already gives you better prices on mobile. They know they don't have to offer good phone deals because people save enough money every year. AT&T has no real excuse though. They are more expensive than Tmobile. Probably because they are too busy lining pockets to pay for their time warner merger... On their way to a monopoly

It is 14.59/mo in savings, which is equal to $350 in savings for 24 months.

This was a discrepancy with the sales people as well, but ultimately when the numbers are ran and purchase complete it is $14.59/month for a GS8 on a new line (as of two days ago). I reverified this in MySprint portal just now, and the agreement doc.
