the last time I bought a $2000+ laptop. It had i7-7820HK , GTX 1080 and two 1TB PCIE SSD.
Cool story man. But the last time I bought a laptop was in 2009, and that MacBook Pro is still going strong. We all know you can go and buy a computer with twice the 'stats' on paper, but that doesn't mean it's a good buy. My buddy's top of the line XPS is a steaming pile of garbage with screen flickering and random powering off. I can't speak for the new gen MacBook Pro's, but when the naysayers complained about the price almost a decade ago, I'm glad I didn't listen, because per year I came out WAY on top.
No they didn't. Click on the correct links, still shows $2,099.
You're correct, had it in my cart but probably click on the wrong link. Tempted... not sure if i should pull the trigger or hold out for the 2017 model
Got it thanks OP! I had ordered the same laptop yesterday for $200 more. Spent 20min on the phone with customer service and had my other order cancelled and bought the new one.

This is a great deal - $700 off the base price.
512 SSD

2gb GPU.
There is very little difference for most people between the 2017 vs 2016 model.
And BB doesn't usually stock high-end models like these.

What is the 10% at BB?

What is the 10% off? Is it the mover's coupon? I thought they got rid of those.
I am aware of the student EDU coupon which I signed up for.
