I understand the one-year burner plan and accessories are worth more than the phone itself.
However, if anyone buying it for the phone, I recommend getting the 2025 Moto for $25 more. Including taxes, it is almost twice the cost to this deal but at least one generation newer with 5G and better specifications.

interesting the big discount is back considering QVC bankruptcy?
the BLU 2-pack clamshell is $69 so -$30 is $20 per year of time if you just want rollover?
Yes, but if you want the phones to unlock after 12 months, you have to have both phones in play for that period of time. Not sure if you can merge 2 plans for 2 phones into one for 2 years service?

What about unlock policy and can I use it on a different network ?

unlocks after one year of paid service on the phone (which is included, albeit, very limited allocation). at that time, yes, it can be used on any carrier once it is no longer locked to tracfone.

agreed, given it used to be 60 days on Tracfone, but a number of prepaid service got stricter with their unlock policy. Tracfone and MetroPCS both went to 12 month unlock policies. some still have 60 days like Mint.
But if you're already on Tracfone and just want to extend your service for another year, $35 isn't bad, you can use the phone, sell it locked and use another phone with the SIM for the service that's bundled with your new phone.

I m just looking for a simple phone for my daughter. I have service already. Don't mean to hijack this thread but I don't really see any deals now that unlock policies have gone crazy

Understand, good luck finding something that helps you out. Sometime some good unlocked deals get posted in the $100-150 range on a brand new phone.

yeah this happened during Trump term, but the 2nd year of said term (2026j
during the 2010s due to the frequency auction verizon and verizon mvnos had a 60 day unlock due to FCC being pro consumer then. Verizon and Verizon MVNOs asked for a change of rules in 2025 and were granted it at the start of 2026 since their is a waiting / cooling off / comment period. Something about how can mvnos make money like this.
not trying to do politics, explaining why we had a good thing for almost 15 years and I am bitter about changes. I am now middle age.
