UPDATED DEAL- Starting 9/29, Virgin Inner circle unlimited talk/ text/ internet is $1 promo rate per month for 6 months (BYOD iPhones are also eligible). After 6 months, the monthly cost goes back to the normal $50/ month.

Sprint itself is offering the same offer for $3-4 taxes per month ($48 per year) with free 10GB hotspot functionality https://slickdeals.net/f/10235008?v=1

If you don't care for the hotspot, VM inner circle BYOD plan is cheaper at $0.40 tax per month (~$5 per year).

If you already have an unlocked iPhone that is not activated on any Sprint or Sprint MVNO service (Tello/ Ting/ Boost/ Virgin) and a Sprint SIM card (free thru Apple store), you can start the inner circle BYOD $1/ year + $0.40 tax per month plan by calling 844.604.3420

If you need a Sprint SIM, just go to the Apple store. Or get it from Virgin for free with FS till 9/26 at https://www.virginmobileusa.com/p...our-device

On your BYOD if you're only getting 3G and not LTE when you know you're in LTE area I would recommend to do a "Reset all settings" through Settings>General>Reset and then do their ##873243# (not 100% sure if it's correct, check the mail pamphlet) number thing. It worked for me.

But it seems to be a two-year contract. And that second year costs $600.

How is this different from the "free service with purchase of an iPhone" deal they've been offering for a couple months?

There are 2 links in OP. Top link says BYOD. Here is quote from linked page. "Consumers know that the Inner Circle is the real deal, but many love their current phones or don't want to upgrade yet. So, now for a short period of time, you can bring your own iPhone to Virgin Mobile and enjoy everything the Inner Circle offers — including the savings — $1 for 12 months of service. It's also a great way to try out the Virgin Mobile network with your own iPhone."

I didn't click through link at bottom of page that you are referring to, although doesn't look like part of $1 deal. Did you click through and can confirm? Looks like it may work.

I don't see the terms on their website.

On the day after the 12 months are up, can I leave Virginia Mobile
and owe absolutely nothing?

Thanks!
