XM Plans (https://www.xfinity.com/mobile/plan)
* No line access fees on up to 5 lines
* Unlimited Verizon nationwide talk and text
* Unlimited: $45 PER LINE, no sharing
* By the gig (pay-as-you-go) plan: SHARED by all lines. Under 100MB: FREE; Otherwise, $12/GB
* There is no contract, you will pay monthly taxes and fees which vary by location...usually $2-3 but in areas like City and County of San Francisco, California - $5.21

Devices:
*XM is a Verizon MVNO, most XM devices are LOCKED to XM. See below for unlock policy.
*XM & Verizon does not tied SIM card and phone together. (Sprint ties them together).
*This means, with XM, you are free to move the XM SIM card to any compatible devices, including VZW post-paid phones (VZW prepaid phone has to be unlocked).
* Make sure that when you use a non-XFinity Mobile branded device that in order for data to work, to set the APN to:
COMCAST.RSLR.VZWENTP
If you've activated but your iPhone's not working, confirm that you see "XFINITY Mobile" on the top left of the home screen.
Connect to a WiFi network
Go to Settings > General > About
Wait for the Carrier Settings Update prompt to appear, then select "Update" which will
get your data working.
For those with iPhone's who are unable to change/edit your APN, goto http://www.unlockit.co.nz/unlockit and even though XFinity Mobile is not on the list, just pick Verizon Wireless which will make the APN visible so you can manually edit it.
* The latest and current PRL (Preferred Roaming List) as of October 16, 2017 is 15533.
If you have a older version, you will need to power off phone, remove SIM from phone and power on phone so it boots up. After booting up, you will need to power off phone, insert SIM in phone and power on. You can check the PRL version by going to Settings -> About phone -> Status. The PRL is what controls what cell towers you can and cannot connect
to including the 1xRTT/3G/4G LTE networks. This is a better explanation of what a PRL is:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pre...aming_List
* Hint: Buy $1 LG X Charge, unlocked LG X Charge first. and then move XM sim to an iPhone/Pixel/etc.

Port-in:
As of September 1, 2017 - You can order the phone with a new number and activate while still being able to port your number from another carrier. To do so you'll need to call XFinity
Mobile Team at 888-936-4968 so their mobile team can assist with your number change/porting request. This information was posted by ComcastMax in official capacity in the following thread and also verified by XFinity Mobile on Facebook:
http://forums.xfinity.com/t5/Xfin...-p/2923846

LG X Charge for $1:
*Exclusive XM SKU
5.5" 720p Screen
2 GB RAM
Large 4,500 mAh battery
Bluetooth 4.2
Wi-Fi 2.4Ghz/5G Dual Band !!
Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 !!
Snapdragon 425 CPU
Android 7.0 (Nougat)
Internal Storage of 16 GB (9.43 GB usable)
microSD slot up to 2TB
* LG X Charge comes SIM LOCKED to XM. Asking me for Sim Unlock Pin using a t-mobile sim and my VZW sim
* AFTER you request unlock, it can partially support AT&T & T-Mobile (missing some bands).
* AFTER you request unlock, it WILL NOT support Sprint, as all Sprint devices have to be whitelisted and even if it was whitelisted, it is missing 4G LTE bands 25, 26, 41 so all you will get is 3G.

UNLOCK INFO
Attention: Make sure you put your XM SIM into the phone you want unlocked, turn the phone on and allow it to register on the network as they can only provide the unlock code for the most recent registered device.
If you received a 16-digit unlock code for the LG X Charge and it doesn't work, try entering the first 8-digits.

https://www.xfinity.com/mobile/su...k-my-phone

If you need to unlock your phone so that you can switch out your SIM card, it's no problem. There are just a few requirements to be aware of.
Criteria for unlocking your phone
Make sure the following things are true:
The phone must be an XFINITY Mobile device.
The phone must not be reported lost, stolen, or involved with fraudulent activity.
The phone cannot be active on another XFINITY Mobile customer's account.
Your XFINITY Mobile Account must be in good standing. One exception is if you are an active member of the military—regardless of account standing, all active-duty military personnel are eligible to have their phones unlocked.
If you're on a Device Payment Plan...
In addition to the criteria mentioned above, if you're paying for your phone on a Device Payment Plan and you have an active account with XFINITY Mobile, the phone you want to unlock must belong to a current XFINITY Mobile or Comcast customer. Your account must be in good standing as well.
If you're paying for your phone on a Device Payment Plan but your account with XFINITY Mobile is inactive, the account must still be in good standing. Also, the primary account holder must be able to authenticate the disconnected account before the phone is eligible for unlocking.
NOTE: After your phone is unlocked, you are still responsible for making all the remaining payments on your Device Payment Plan.

Be careful if you plan to order cheap LG phone and use the SIM card in your Verizon iPhone 6S/7. No one I have seen, has been able to get Visual Voicemail to work with the XM SIM on apple devices as of this month. If anyone knows different please add to wiki. Also, if you do this, there is no WiFi Calling and no personal hotspot.

100MB of free data is shared between all the lines in an account.

The default apps on the LG X Charge which is the standard for all Android devices is:
XFINITY MOBILE https://play.google.com/store/app....myaccount
XFinty Mobile Voice Mail https://play.google.com/store/app...vvm.client
even though the setup will allow you to install the following as optional:
Pocket Geek https://play.google.com/store/app...ek.android
XFinity Stream TV https://play.google.com/store/app...y.cloudtvr
XFinity MyAccount https://play.google.com/store/app...vs.android

To get Xfinity WiFi working on a non-Xfinity Mobile branded device to get free unlimited WiFi when needed, all you need to do is install the XFINITY WiFi Hotspots app:
https://play.google.com/store/app...omcast.hsf

There is also a free Google 100GB storage for 2 years, just open the Google Drive app on the LG X Charge and it will show the offer. The Xfinity Mobile SIM card MUST BE in the phone for the promo to appear. After the promo is activated then you will have the 100GB of storage on the account, no matter what device you log into. I would recommend just factory restoring the phone and restarting with the SIM installed if you are not seeing the promo appear.

ROOTING INFO
The Xfinity Mobile version just like the Verizon version of a given make/model of phone has a locked bootloader and like many other Verizon phones, likely will never receive OEM unlock for it (needed for rooting). However a couple of useful features that most people need rooting for can be done without rooting:

1. DNS66 Adblocker:
https://github.com/julian-klode/dns66

2. Autohide (& show) the bottom Navbar for full screen immersive mode in all apps

New software update(s):
October 26, 2017 - New android update for the LG X Charge vM322V10k
December 19, 2017 - Android security patch (November 1, 2017 patch level)

Just got off the phone with the Rep every xfinity customer has a "preapproved" line limit on their account. The pre-approved line limit is based off your payment history and any credit records xfinity has, You can only buy the amount of phones without a credit check based on your pre-approved line limit. You can call and ask them what your limit is and they will tell you, if you want to know before you place your order how many you can get without a credit check.

I am in Michigan (48060) and was charged $8.20 (fees and taxes). I did not expect so high charges with $0 for 1 activated phone from 4 (all bought fo $1 pay once). Tried to shat and call how it came to this amount but was told they don't have break down. Is that strange? Does anybody is getting similar charges? Thanks.
Taxes and fees are charged per line. If you are only using one line, you should suspend the other three lines. I believe each line can be suspended for 90 days. Suspended lines are not charged taxes and fees.

I don't think I need suspend the line if it is not activated. I do have only 1 activated and 3 never been activated lines. Is $8.29 normal for 1 line in Michigan (48060) or not. I am getting no breakdown from Comcast Mobil at all. Thanks.

I do see the taxes and fees broken down in my statement, have you checked the actual statement if you've gotten one already?

I don't have the statement but just info that CC was charged for $8.20. Is here anybody from MI who can tell how much the bill is (fees and taxes only) for 1 line of LG X Charge phone (fees and taxes only)? Thanks.

On the xfinity mobile web page, log in and go into billing, under payment history, you should see your orders, click on the arrow to the right of each order and it will show the amount for the phone and amount for taxes, click on the down arrow to the right of the taxes amount and you should get the breakdown..

I got LG Xcharge, and I unlock it. I use T-Mobile sim card with it, which is fine for calling & texting. However, I always get "Invalid Sim Card detected." Does anyone know how to stop that message?

So, what can we do to stop the charges if we are not going to use the phone and the phone has not been activated. I am charged $1 for a phone plus taxes and fees, which doesn't make sense cause I already paid $1 for it when I bought it the day of release. Thanks!

Thanks. I do see it too. It does look the "fees and charges" are only for 1 line (phone). How much it is for you and what is your location (state)? Thanks.

FYI. This is for Michigan (48060). Seems like for 1 line (phone). I do have 1 activated line (phone) from 4 that I paid $1 each.

Taxes, Fees, & Other Charges
Taxes, Fees, & Surcharges
State 911 Tax
$0.76
State Use Tax
$2.32
County 911 Charge-Resolution
$2.40

Other Charges
Federal Universal Service Fund
$2.08
Regulatory Recovery Fee
$0.28
Mi Restruct Mechanism Fund Fee
$0.36

The Regulatory Recovery Fee (RRF) and Federal Universal Service Fund (FUSF) charge are assessed by Comcast and are neither government mandated nor taxes. The RRF recovers certain federal impositions on Comcast. The FUSF recovers Comcast's required contribution to that fund.

Total
$8.20

On Monday I called Xfinity Mobile and requested a port-in of our NetTalk VOIP phone number. We have Xfinity Voice as part of our Triple Play so why pay $40 a year for an extra VOIP service! The help desk tech took my info and said she didn't see any errors. I was told up to 72 hours was possible to complete port-in. I left the phone connected to the NetTalk DUO VOIP box and called out a couple times each day. I checked the Xfinity Mobile website around 11 PM and it showed the old house number in place of the Xfinity Mobile #. Fired up the LG X Charge phone for that sim/phone #. Pleased to see it activated with the old home #. I set up a forward to the Xfinity Voice phone #, hooked the portable phone base to the Xfinity Modem\ Router and it works just like it should! The forwarding even works with the LG X Charge phone powered off.
