How is this compared to Vitamix 780 (reconditioned)? Vitamix was priced 299$ in the last deal. Wonder if this deal is a better product features to price ratio?

I was in a recent situation. There are Blendtec and Vitamix loyalist. I went with a new Blendtec for the dull blades and 8yr warranty vs. the 5yr (reconditioned) Vitamix warranty. This is a great price for a 625 Blendtec, I paid $400 for 625, wildside+ (which has metal protection on the gasket), recipe book, and spatula.

How long does the email delivery take? Have you done something like this before? I'm just worried that I'd buy 300$ worth of gift card and by the time the gift card is delivered to my email, the Groupon deal expires.

Although, I saw 625 for 249$ in the past here at SD. Makes me wonder if this is just not the best deal.

Paypal delivers electronic gift cards pretty fast. By the way, the price is changed to $299 now as few other sd'ers already posted. But I am sure groupon will have another sale on the item soon.
