PriceMatch:
If you bought this for $1899 from PreviousDeal, start a LiveChat [bhphotovideo.com] with bhphoto and get it price matched.
They will credit $100 back to your payment method. (They might create a new order with new price.)

As Fry's price ($1491) is available only for store pickup, bhphoto can't pricematch it.

It is a 2016, so its not really $500 off. The new 2017 model is $2400, not this one. But still a good price.

No. Apple products are always 2x the price of anything similar.
Yeah. If you buy a MacBook you might want to keep it for about 6-7 years at tops until it's time for another replacement

6-7 years for a laptop is awesome. Plus they retain their value pretty well. A PC inside of about 6-12 months is nearly worthless and generally won't last more than a few years.

My first MacBook Pro from Feb 2002 lasted until fall 2009 when the hinges broke. My mid 2009 MacBook Pro from Dec 2009 is still working, although I had to replace the hd due to imminent failure. Both had their batteries replaced a few times. Currently use a mid 2012 MacBook Pro at work and it runs great. Build quality is way better than the Dell and Lenevo laptops I used previously at work.

Still got a 2014 loaded MacBook Pro and it is still rocking which annoys me because I really want to have a reason to upgrade my laptop!
