I was in the garden section just running thru the clearance items and found that the Scotts Southern Turf Builder (15,000 sq ft) (42.18lb) had a tag of $30 clearance price on it but i still went ahead and scanned it on the walmart app and it came up $10!
Usually my walmart doesn't have any of the YMMV deals so it might be worth it to take a trip down to the garden section and scan with your phone!
The same is selling on Amazon for $69!

Would it be a waste of time and money to use this on a lawn in the northeast? Specifically "upstate" NY.

I've used turfs and I have heard it works well but all I had was fast growing weeds. I must've been doing something wrong. Maybe not enough? Stinks though, I spent a lot more than ten for it.

Got 4 , 42lb bags of Scott's weed and feed yellow bag, and two bags of Scott's commercial grass seed 20lb ea

For 65.00 lol El Paso Texas, visiting family then heading back to CO.
Should be good for 4 years
About 320 dollars worth of merchandise

You should apply it before a good rain, and always mow before applying

Any place that gets a lot of rain or some rain or no rain would be helpful.
