Thumbs up. Great show, especially if you're a fan of the movies. There are other good TV shows on sale as well. Bob's Burgers $9.99 a season except season 8. Also if you like the office you might want to check out superstore. Great cast and pretty funny as well.
Still a little peeved the digital hasn't been included with the physical copy. But alas probably my favorite show on cable to date. And there is stiff competition these days. Great time to be alive! Solid deal for those who didn't buy the discs.

It's been confirmed that S2 blu is Instawatch. Haven't seen info on S1.

Good to know I've been buying the best buy steel book versions. S1 already goes for a huge premium in that case. The promo ads for s2 showed digital and then it wasn't included so it was an unpleasant surprise.
I've only purchased streaming content from Google Play and Amazon for the most part. I have heard of VUDU before but never paid much attention. I really want to have the evil dead content... however, a question / concern - how reliable / stable / big is VUDU? Could they conceivably fold in the future (since there's a billion platforms and you gotta figure some will disappear or die off) and we'd be SOL with our VUDU purchases?
Part 2 question: it looks like there's a choice between SD or HDX for $9.99? Can you choose one or the other any time after you buy, or do you have to choose upfront and are you stuck with that choice after purchase?

Walmart owns Vudu so it's very reliable. You have to choose upfront which one you want to purchase.

In addition, alot movies on Vudu is Ultraviolet so that means you can use other providers such as FandangoNow, Flixster, FIOS (cableTV), M-Go, MovieProducers website would show the movies when they are available to the service if you are not able to get to Vudu. In regards to these TV titles, they are not ultraviolet so that means it stays only on Vudu.
In addition to choice, SD is Standard Definition and HDX is the High Definition. The difference is the price. If it is the same price, choose HDX as it will default to SD if the device, such as a laptop or cell phone, does not support HD. In a sense, HDX contains SD as well.
Questions about UV. The price of $2 or $5 for a digital copy (I am aware of the codes that come with some physical copies) seems like a good deal. Just so I understand, that $2/5 gets you a digital copy available only through UV, right? Secondly, this is just a cheap and quick alternative to ripping my own physical copy? I'm not missing anything am I?

Anyway, this is a nice price for a great show.
