Be aware that there are few high quality studies that suggest water flossing is as effective as string floss (aside from those done by manufacturers). It's better than doing nothing, but it's not a string floss replacement.

I got the WP-100 model from CVS deal(45% one item) couple of weeks back for the final price of $27ish. There is a rebate for $5.

If water flossing is as effective as string flossing then how could it not be a replacement?

Ok I read it too fast. But the conclusion isn't necessarily logical.

The conclusion that there are not many studies to suggest that water flossing is as effective as string flossing?

No. The conclusion that it's better than nothing but not a replacement.

It's better than not string flossing, but not necessarily as good as string flossing. Not sure where I'm losing you here.

Usually after eating a steak, I floss while I drive home. I get home and use my waterpik and pieces still come out. If you can incorporate both into your routine I would say it's better than just flossing.

Indeed. If you're only going to do one, string floss is better. If you can do both, even better. Water flossing does have an advantage in removing debris from certain areas.
