That is only because Verizon's customers are subsidizing your purchase. Don't expect it to last long if everyone starts buying ebay unlock codes.

Should appeal to those on Sprint who will never be able to whitelist the Verizon Moto G4 from Walmart to get it to work on a Sprint MVNO with an active SIM.

So what, it's lasted about a week or more to this date and continues to be the same deal buy from Wally World, Amazon, you name it Verizon E4 ~$39ish go to eBay buy a $2.09 unlock code and wallah unlocked E4...to the guy that pays $99Ha ha

Plus eligible for bootloader unlock which will enable root + custom ROMs, which the Verizon one can't do either.
