Deals on this blender are fairly frequent but I don't believe it has ever been lower for a brand new one with 8 years warranty. Last time this deal was available it went to the front page.
Available online and B&M. Valid 9/16/17 through 10/15/17, while supplies last.
Dang, what is Costco's policy when items go on sale like this in regards to getting the price difference back? I know I can just return my item and buy again, but why if I don't have to.
I want to buy my first blender. Heard Vitamix is good. What model in Vitamix is this comparable to? I will check price difference vs features when I know more about this. Any other blenders to compare at this price?

Within 30 days PM will be no problem. After 30 days it will have to be a return/rebuy. When I did it with a TV, the guest services rep had me buy a new TV so he could return it on the old receipt. He was nice about the ordeal, but still an inconvenience.

I own both. Have Blendtec ES3 wideside+ jar and Vitamix 5200.
Bought Blendtec 2 years ago for $199 refurbished from ebay.
Bought Vitamix 5200 5 years ago brand new for $350.
5200 is older model replaced by 5300(higher hp with shorter jar).
Both blenders are great blenders and won't disappoint you.
I had issue with both blenders and both companies left me with great customer service experience.
Bearings on both blenders went bad after 2 years.
Vitamix and Blendtec both sent me brand new jar(requested RMA from Blendtec last week and new jar is on UPS truck).
Blendtec has 3hp motor and Vitamix 5200 has 2hp motor(5300 has 2.2hp motor).
Vitamix has motor gear three time size of Blendtec's motor gear.
Overall I prefer Vitamix BUT for brand new Brandtec at $199 with 8 yr warranty is a steal.
Best you can do on Vitamix is about $250 with 5 yr warranty for refurbished 5300.
