This is a good deal if you get 10% cash back. Making it $1181. I saw this deal yesterday but passed it since $1300+ is still like a regular deal price for 1070 laptop, not the best.

I'll think about it with 10% cash back. Will check on this.

Great price for the specs. I wish this was the newer model of the Omen 17 though. Strictly for the anti-ghosting keyboard.

Also don't forget those cashback sites. One of them is doing 10% for HP.

Only issue I can think of is lack of Type-C Port of any kind. It should at least have a Type-C Gen 2 Port, if not Thunderbolt 3.

I was able to customize it with the 1070. Came out to $1387.49 with all other specs being the same. After 12% CB and tax it will end up being a net $1335.46. Better than the deal I posted earlier. Looks like I'll be canceling that order.

Don't pay using gift cards, you won't get 12% cash back from thirdparty website if you pay using gift cards.

$1220 after 12% cash back + 7.75% sales tax = GTX 1070, 16GB, 512GB SSD and 4k display. Great deal for a NEW laptop. I am so tempted now lol.
