I can' find recertified prices to compare with. I bought one in NJ and was charged tax but there's free shipping.

I support two My Cloud drives at different locations. As NAS drives they're functional, the interface is ok. However, the WDSync software is utter garbage.

For example, if I log in with one account remotely, I can see one drive but not another. Use another account and see both some of the time. Most of the time, the software can't see the drives, meaning nothing gets synced at all remotely.

I ended up having to use google drive sync, which works flawlessly but as a caveat it merely syncs and doesn't "backup" unless you consider the trash folder part of your solution (doesn't delete trash unless you do it manually so technically the files are always there once replaced).

If they fixed up the DNS/networking/connectivity problems i'd probably shout about this product from the rooftop.

On a positive note, it works great as a media server inside the building through its public folders.
