Pretty good deal, you won't find it for less than 2499$ anywhere on the net! They had the same deal like a month back and a lot of people missed it... now it's back...

Also they are offering free assembly!

Just a note, Weber stopped using 304 stainless steel in 2009-2010 due to costs. Their grills now use 430 stainless which is ferritic and less corrosion resistant. Also 430 SS has a much higher iron content and requires much higher heat to weld, changing the structure. So welds on 430 SS are more prone to rust.

At this price point, you may want to look into higher quality grills that use 304 SS like Lynx. I have seen the 36" Lynx in the $2500 range.

Seems like alot of money for a Weber. Is there higher end (more expensive stuff) really that much better? Their cheaper home Depot models are junk.

I have a Modern Home Products WNK4 that is about 15 years old and have yet to replace a single part on it. The burner is starting to go, so I'll replace that before next season. I highly recommend this grill, gets hotter and cooks more even that any other grill I use. I suppose the cooking area on the Weber is more and my MHP is only 40,000 btu.

I still have a Weber Genesis Gold that I bought back in 2004 that I leave in the rain and sun. It still looks like new and everything, including spark lighter, works. Albeit I have to click a bunch of times to get it to light.

Seems like an awful lot of money for something that typically sits outside 24/7 and could be easily walked off..

It's got casters.

5 minutes tops until it's in a truck never to be seen again.

Chained down or not.
