I prefer IPS due to better viewing angles and colors. VA panel will have deeper blacks.

Tempting for a 32 inch 4K. Debating if I should pay up for this 32 inch LG or wait until benq has their 4K 27 inch for under $300 shipped after taxes.

extremely tempting at this price... was thinking that i needed to upgrade my work setup since my new laptop has a lousy 1600x900 res screen. i have a 1440p monitor as my secondary, but again, this 1600x900 screen sucks for just about everything.

Thanks OP!

4k 27" too small for text if used for any work stuff.

Anyone have a review about it's color accuracy? I'm wondering if it would be good enough for amateur photo editting for print as well as being a "good enough" gaming monitor since it's got FreeSync.

I agree. I have a 32" Qnix 4k IPS panel and it is perfect - no scaling needed!

Very temping, 95% DPI-P3

I doubt if his has the same panel of the AOC U3277PWQU which receives great reviews, whose panel is INNOLUX M315DJJ. LG doesn't seem to make a panel of these specs. 2 monitors have identical specs and price tags (before Newegg discount).

The dilemma is 27 inch is only optimum for 1440 (2K) resolution, anything higher will hurt your eyes. With 32 inch you would be able to move up to 4K with perhaps 120% zoom on windows or settled on something in between 4K and 2K, I find 1662 is more acceptable after calculated the pixel density. To go with full 4K, it needs at least 40 inch screen which is hard to use

However, any IPS 32 inch IPS 4K costs at least twice as much as 27 inch IPS 4K at the moment, apparently the marketing people have done their home work.

After a lot of research and deal-watching I decided to order this monitor yesterday, and I already received it through free shipping. I originally wanted an IPS, but I had to bite on this deal for the size and 4K.

I'm very computer hardware savvy, although not overly knowledgeable about monitors specifically. That being said, this monitor is gorgeous. The screen is crisp and bright, the viewing angles are excellent (something I was a bit worried about), and the stand and overall aesthetics are top-notch.

I decided that a higher refresh rate wasn't a priority as I'll mainly be using the monitor for work, but after having a chance to test it briefly, I'm sure it'll be fantastic for games as well. I definitely recommend biting at this price if size and resolution are your priorities.

This model in 27" is also shipped for $300. I am however waiting on the BenQ refurbished deal as they are far better monitors.
